nice to see sd acting their age

just wondered where the flame where?

#4 2009-11-21 11:03 by Hooraytio (83.233.83.XXX)
yeah cmt1b is such a popular map...
#5 2009-11-21 14:13 by Skillah (77.166.55.XXX)
Not even 150? :L
#6 2009-11-21 14:27 by reppie (94.214.165.XXX)
i know what map we will take vs sd!
#7 2009-11-21 14:48 by Kwibus (213.46.205.XXX)
Maybe hooray, but still this is sad.
#8 2009-11-21 15:06 by Milton (195.148.48.XXX)
I think SD still needs some practice to take down other clans in cmt1b.
#9 2009-11-21 17:07 by XantoM (213.114.67.XXX)
Should have got around 200 but got timed out twice and had to reboot etc.
#10 2009-11-21 17:12 by gore (78.105.161.XXX)
Damn, you even beat Stev's -16 :( Why didn't SD just give WO? Or learn the map? :p
And why does this bloody site never accept the first image code I type...
#11 2009-11-21 17:25 by jaedong (89.160.7.XXX)
gore: wo would've cost us a point, so this was the better choice. and that image code disturbs me aswell :)
#12 2009-11-21 18:19 by JohnNy_cz (78.128.193.XXX)
I hope rules will be updated to treat this idiocy appropriately.
#13 2009-11-21 18:43 by gore (78.105.161.XXX)
Oh I didn't know that. Fair enough.
Nice to know it's not just me then!
#14 2009-11-21 18:53 by Stev (86.41.137.XXX)
This shows a fundamental lack of respect for the league and for tvs.
They waste everyone's time like this and expect to be rewarded with an "activity point" for playing the game? Bullshit.
#15 2009-11-21 19:13 by Hooraytio (83.233.83.XXX)
This is what might happen when maps are added that far from the majority agress on. And yeah, i dont believe the poll results you often refer to are valid.
#16 2009-11-21 19:25 by lib (85.229.241.XXX)
Admitting you're trying to circumvent the rules to avoid WO point docking should result in said point docking, at the very least.
#17 2009-11-21 19:26 by Stev (86.41.137.XXX)
Does your opinion on the map excuse this behaviour? Because that's all I was commenting on.
At least csn still played the map, despite your personal feelings on it, hooraytio.
#18 2009-11-21 20:16 by Hooraytio (83.233.83.XXX)
i will not idle or suicide in a league game just because i dont like the map, i got to play dm2 after and im fine with that.
i dont like this behaviour
#19 2009-11-21 21:14 by Kapitan Kloze (83.5.73.XXX)
well, teams so obviously mockin the idea of EQl should be somehow punished, No respect for the EQL, spectators and opponents. Shame on you
#20 2009-11-21 21:16 by jaedong (89.160.7.XXX)
ofcourse no shame on the "democratic" map pool voting?
#21 2009-11-21 22:26 by niw (85.83.102.XXX)
just get tb3 back and not all those shit kenya maps :)
#22 2009-11-21 22:36 by Stev (86.41.137.XXX)
Absolutely. Every single map made in the last 13.5 years could never be as good as a single player map and a couple of multiplayer maps made before 4on4 as we know it today was conceived as a gametype.
#23 2009-11-21 23:03 by Hooraytio (83.233.83.XXX)
maybe the mappers try too hard to make a good 4on4 map that in the end it is flawed because of that...
#24 2009-11-22 01:03 by blAze (94.237.84.XXX)
Maps are not the problem. Certainly any custom map is way better than e1m2. The problem is that the level of gameplay (which in the end defines an interesting game) is way lower in customs.
#25 2009-11-22 01:36 by JohnNy_cz (78.128.193.XXX)
If there was no voting and the admins just decided on this map pool, would you act the same?
#26 2009-11-22 02:18 by blixem (80.126.106.XXX)
Well, blaze, if you think like that there will never be a new map accepted just because we have been playing some maps longer. The level of gameplay gets higher once we get to play them.
And I think it is really funny you keep bashing e1m2 :)
#27 2009-11-22 03:48 by blAze (94.237.84.XXX)
Like I said, to me the maps are far less important than the level of gameplay. I don't have a problem with no new maps. The current maps are good enough. It's the game that counts, not the maps.

Where are minus points for SD? Grisling played with wrong client version, default ruleset and refused to fix those...
#29 2009-11-24 01:10 by wimpeeh (195.240.46.XXX)
bah beating my 119 nasty swedes
#30 2009-11-24 12:25 by grisling (130.243.227.XXX)
#31 2009-11-24 17:09 by blAze (94.237.84.XXX)
Yes we put ready, but also gave you a friendly warning that if admin saw that, you might get point deductions. It takes 20 seconds to fix your shortcut to the correct executable and put the right ruleset, is it really worth it taking the risk? No one from us went to the admins but from what I heard they already know about this. Also if there really is a problem with a client version, I think you can get a special permission, but you need to ask it in advance. We should be thankful that someone plays us? Well, you guys didn't, you went idle remember. :)
#32 2009-11-24 18:47 by grisling (130.243.145.XXX)
Kidding me? "No one from us went to the admins but from what I heard they already know about this." To quote diki in the statement three lines above "Where are minus points for SD? Grisling played with wrong client version, default ruleset and refused to fix those..." If thats not giving the admins the intention to give us minus points then what is? Why i didnt change version before was that i got some strange flood message in qw. Which we now fixed...I think tVS should concentrate more on their game and try to stay out of everybody elses and leave that for the admins...to come in and make f_versions and stuff when other clans are playing and whine is to me just crazy behaviour.
#33 2009-11-24 19:09 by blAze (94.237.84.XXX)
I doubt any admin reads comments from old games like this. Of the other stuff I know nothing about, though there is an easy fix: play by the rules. They are simple enough.
#34 2009-11-25 10:46 by Hooraytio (85.228.250.XXX)
just for the record, we do read all comments. if nothing else then atleast to look for content that doesnt belong here like spam and such things that need to be removed
#35 2009-11-26 13:50 by diki (84.250.2.XXX)
It isnt our fault if you dont have time to fix your client. I think Ihminen said we gonna check ruleset etc some hours before match?
Btw it was EQL admin who recommended us to check these... there are some rumours about your settings in qhlan :)
Without ruleset you can use rollalpha, shaftalpha etc etc. And with macros you can do some nasty stuff too. Some uses those settings and just make sure our opponent doesn\'t... its better to check ruleset. Thats why it\'s in the rules. Those are not so bad cheats but illegal anyway...
#36 2009-11-26 13:52 by diki (84.250.2.XXX)
Do not hate tvs hate the legue and rules!
