What's with Polish clans insisting on nospecs? Machinery did it too. And like with them, the vote for nospecs only came after we dominated a map. Strange, huh? :)

DM3 was very tight all the way - we got a good start with RL and pent and took the next couple of quads, but we lost our grip on the map between 5 and 15 mins pretty much. Neither side was able to frag hard when in control and it was never more than about 12-15 frags difference in score.

On DM2 (DA's map), I spawned at tele with pattah so he went through, took high RL and quad and killed DA's guy who got low RL/secret. I was able to take GL and then 2nd low RL, and with pattah/others making tele/water secure ish, I got some easy frags and denied DA a few RLs at low for a few mins. After that, we settled into a really nice rhythm and routine with stefan and manny running most of the quads, and we always managed to keep up good pressure on low RL. Whenever they got RLs, we were usually able to take them out without any major damage.

E1M2 was close for a little while, I think it was 80-80 or so at one point. But then we took over and held YA for most of the rest of the game, and we did a great job of getting 3 or 4 guys to quad every time. DA's RL guys had nowhere to go and they couldn't out-rush us at the YA. Manny did a superb job again in fragging, holding YA and running some quads.

Its pure delight to see that osams is keeping up their activity. Well done by DA to steal a map tho! :)

Big shout out to our "silent German assassin", pattah, who stood in for the unavailable thompen with great aplomb last night. His solid work on each map, but on DM2 in particular, was really important for us. In some ways I hope he never does get a microphone - it will ruin his mystique when we hear his sultry German tones.

@Gaz: Well it's not that we had any suspictions towards you guys but I found it very irritating that you, being the admin of several leagues in the past were not accustomed with this league's rules. As much as we'd love your teammate to be spectating the match live we thought that a 5 seconds delay via QTV won't do any harm.

Anyways, as many times I said before a really frustrating performance. DM3 seemed to be a proper mess with no team really showing any signs of being better and only by luck did we secure a win on this map. Had it not been for the third pent that I got having 12 health we would have most certainly lost. Some really unfavorable bores also commited at YA 3 minutes to go only made the situation worse for us but we managed to slowspawn to victory.

DM2 was very improper from the very start with Gaz's strong keeping of LOW-RL and successful retreiving of that RL every 30 seconds we were left only to be killed.

E1M2 was lost because during the course of the game we could not successfully control YA.

Heh, because I was an admin 4 years ago I should automatically know EQL rules by heart? Funny. It was not the request that we objected to, just the timing. You had no problems with 'nospecs' being off before DM3 or DM2 - so it seemed to us like we were being accused.

Gaz, you make me blush. I think the games went okay for me. The "feel of the game" still is not there and the occasional mistyped team says might have been confusing for the rest of the team. :p

Anyway, I really enjoyed the games. Not only because we have won but also because DA were nice and more or less hassle free. DM2 went way better than expected - I thought it would end 0-2 in favour for DA before start. :))

Regarding the microphone I have to disappoint you, I've got one today and soon you will be able to enjoy "ze German accent" to its full extend. ;)

I don't think anyone would cheat in qw, or at least it's hard to imagine it, but I guess ilf kinda proved me wrong :E However I don't think nospecs changes much..
