Congratulations LegeArtis to the victory of EQL Season 2!

You've proven to us that there's still gas in them old quaking machines, not only did you manage to beat FS in the finals, you also gave us a quick and neat play during the groupplay, on mine and the Quake Scene's behalf, Thank You!

I guess we all wonder, will they be able to defend the title during season 3? I can't answer that question but I sure wish you good luck!

Inactive qualification teams

A few team have gone inactive during in the qualification matches and they must be removed to make it fair for the rest of the teams. None of them (jokkmokk, Suddendeath2, Thangorodrim and Brutality) have signed up for for EQL3 and I wish they had gone inactive before the qualification so other teams could have had theire chance :(.

2 days left of EQL2

Like when the regular EQL2 season ended, all unplayed qualification matches will be removed on Sunday the 19th of March at 23:59 CET, ie, you may not report matches or request WO after that. Wildcards will NOT be used very frequently so play your matches or accept the consequences of your inactivity!

2 days left to sign up for EQL3 that starts on Monday the 20th of March.

tVS vs FS was played 6 hours ago and I need zzzz
we got one semifinal left and a final.

30 min after the semifinal ends - The Final

While the second season of European Quake League is coming to and end, the sign up part for the third season has just opened! If you feel like having a new shot at that EQL title next season then head over to the season 3 site and bring your friends too!

Division 5 is over

I've written a short sommary of division5 for those who doesn't check that div too often, and ofcourse for those who always do.

So, I guess that's it. Division five group games are finished...
We have all played and watched exciting games that made som of us scream out loud.

Playoffs and EQL3

Hey guys!
We have had a really fun groupstage with lots of old ppl coming back and some new faces to the quakeworld scene.

the Schedule (for all except div4):

2006-03-06 00:01 Playoff starts
2006-03-19 23:59 Playoff ends

2006-03-20 00:01 EQL3 starts

The signup form for EQL3 will be online asap

now, get and find your oponents asap (in div1 you dont see a playoff-tree but the games are:
LegeArtis vs Leftovers
Firing Squad vs the Viper Squad

More inactive teams

Division 2 team Luis clan have been removed from eql2 due to inactivity. All theire matches are removed without changeing the div2 standings at all.

Division 1 team Antiquad have asked to be removed as well, they have active members in the team but unfortunately some of them are listed for other teams in eql2, they'll be back in eql3 tho. This means that tVS and Leftovers changes positions in the div1 standings.

Division 3 team Bad Luck Troopers have been removed too. This changes the standings in div3 a bit :(. Veterans and Apocalypse 2006 changes positions as well as Brutality and clan metally troopers.

Division 3 team NoNaMe have been disqualified after theire second WO. This changes the standings in div3 again which is a bit silly. If anyone have suggestions how to do handle this situations better in eql3 please let us know. Anyway the top4 teams are still the same even tho the order amongst them have changed a bit.
