DM3:
Our pick. This was pretty smooth. As you can see, we did a good job with RA/quad and only nice aiming in 1on1 fights from ze Russians stopped us winning by more.

DM2:
Their pick. Pretty smooth as well - we did a nice job of running quads and putting pressure on low between quads as well.

E1M2:
Stefan decided that we didn't need him, so said he was going to bed (!). Here's where it started to go wrong for us! CPM out-fought us in all areas, winning the 1on1 fights thanks to their superior aim with all weapons, particularly SSG and SNG, and did a great job at always having 3 or 4 at quad. We had a few spells in YA/GL but they were too good at flooding en masse for us to stay there for long.

DM2:
Their pick. For some reason, they didn't choose E1M2 again, but it didn't matter, as they shrugged off a bad start (we were up by 60 frags I think). Once they had quad side in their control, we were unable to take it back. We all tried launching counters and trying to take quads but anupko and co kept gunning us down.

DM3:
Our pick again. Now panicking that we might lose, Thomas called his brother and persuaded him to return to his computer for the decider. This time it was much closer. We didn't help ourselves, mind. Manny got 1st RL and I got 1st pent, and one after the other, dropped RL packs to CPM guys at RA before the 1st minute was up (oops). Eventually, we managed to retake RA and we did a good job at taking pents/quads for the most part, and did a nice job of hunting down their RL guys.

CPM have good aim and with some more 4on4 experience and routine, they will be a div 2 team. On the first DM3, I spawned at tunnel and went for mega->LG as you would expect, only to meet CPM's RL guy in the water. Naturally, I discharged him and then got a lucky spawn and was able to take his pack. These are the kind of things they need to work on. If they can do that, they will be a very handy team.

Another thriller from osams - possibly brought on by some complacency during the first DM2. Not to take any credit away from cpm, of course, who capitalised brilliantly in their favourite map and then had the balls to pick DM2 for some revenge, setting us up for a lovely 5th map decider.

We wern't agressive enough flooding and attacking in the games we lost, something CPM were very good at. Our E1M2 score was pitiful.

I dunno, we attacked lots on that second DM2, we just kept getting killed. I reckon I dropped 3 or 4 packs at quad-low from failed quad attacks in the 2nd half :D
