i somehow was afraid of this result after pracing SR before this game.. they felt extremly good :) watch out TVS!

Yeah it doesn't look good for us. Can't prac at all because of Milton's stupid trip. :E I hope he doesn't require a lot of warmup to get in shape because this is not going to be easy.

Isn't supposed to be warmer in Spain than in Finland, no warmup required if not counting sauna! ;P

Slackers looking really hot atm. Specially with their top lineup. Even though I'm sorry we didn't win, I guess this is the final most people were looking forward too.

Haven't seen us perform that bad in DM3 in months. If it was due to own mistakes or Slackers just being that good, I'm unsure. Probably a bit of both.

In the DM2 game I felt we did much right, but failed to lock it down properly. Just 1 minute without enough pressure on low, and they're back on track and quad runs start to fail, and eventually the map is lost. We got much to work on here, even if we gave them a close fight.

On E1M2 we really missed moltas in the lineup. This one failed from start to finish imo. We can't make up our minds, and even if we got a couple of RL's, we were usually too unorganized to get anything valuable out of them.

Well played, Slackers, and GL vs tVS :-). I'm still happy about what we, and I, achieved during this season!

Must congratulate Paradoks on finding new mates again and again to achieve 4on4 success :P, alltho these guys have been in slackers for a while now. Im happy to see my former clanmate krab in big games like this one :) gz mate

I can only hope to see Slackers give tVS a good fight in the final. There were more seasons SR ended up in the final to get owned badly by tVS.

I don't mind who wins, maybe a little more sympathy toward SR with dutch Murdoc and ping 50 Zero, but this should be good.

No idea what you're talking about Kwibus, I think tvs won one of the two finals they met on walkover and the other was last season where a MUCH more inactive slackers side where paradoks played his first game in a year did pretty well vs tvs.

Yes, it is going to be different this time but I wouldn't hold slackers as favourites, tvs with their a-lineup still has a lot of teamplay and are by far the most experienced side this season. Though I would expect SR to be able to win actual maps this final, last season they came close but you could tell they lacked something.

Allthough I think we played one of our better games this season, there were still to many mistakes that we can't afford making vs tVS.

If we manage to do that I think we have a chance :)

Credits to Fusion for growing into one of the better div1 teams in such short time many say its all thanks to Martin, I think thats partly true but we also have to give some credits to the other players like Skillah and Rikoll.

I like blAzes comment. The cockyness begins to wear down. SR really showing that if someone could beat tVS this season, its them. Para in ultimate shape and zero/krab/murdoc too. Oooo its gonna be a hot final.

Actually nitram it was SR that won the "summer eql" final with wo after they refused to play us until we no longer could. I think we were clear favourites that time.

This seems to be a new SR though. Looks like ParadokS got a big psychological boost from good ping and monitor and that brought the whole team to a new level. So it's going to be rusty tVS vs hot SR. :)

Are not tVS always rusty since they get so few pracs?

Well kinda, but now even more so than usual with Milton in Spain for 2 weeks and XantoM was just away for a week etc.

Btw will you have _any_ time to prac before the final if its played next sunday or will milton come home right before?

Rikoll: Definately some good performances from you guys this season, just too bad you didn't manage to go the whole mile. Lots of development and if this continues I'm sure you will do even better next season. What happend to Moltas btw? Someone mentioned he had hardware problems, but it wasn't really noticable on the first two maps.

Murdoc: Definately agree about what you said about Nitram. He has given Fusion a nice boost this season, but also the addition of Rikoll has helped a lot. Also seeing Serox finally being really active has been great, and has meant a lot for Fusions performance. Conclusion, it's a whole lot of things that have made them being a top contender.
About the mistakes I also do think there were a few too many from you guys. Against tVS you have to make sure to get your shit together and reduce the amounts of quadbores etc :) That goes for tVS also though, because they also made a lot of mistakes like this against Enigma with some nice quadbores from Ihmi among others. I also hope Krab will be active this week, because he surely doesn't look as hot as a few months ago!

I do hope for a great final now! Who wins doesn't really matter for me as long as it becomes a close game. A 5 mapper would be great, but maybe that's too much to hope for? I'm sure Milton will have no problems getting back into the game, but who knows.. was probably a while ago that he had such a "long" break :)

Milton will be back on Friday so we have a day or two to get in shape. He was away for months last summer I think, so it's not that long since his last long break.

For a player like Milton who plays quite a bit it's not really a big problem to be away for 2 weeks. It takes an hour of playtime to be back at normal lvl.

No excuses here blaze. Trying to go into the underdog mode :)

Nitram: Apparently you are right. It's just any team that met tVS in the final got owned. 1 of them was Slackers.

Well Kwibus SR has been praccing furiously with Fusion for weeks already and will probably continue doing so where as we are not playing at all. Prac makes a big difference in the gameplay of a team and it's not something you can fix in one day.

I wonder who will get the best spawns...
Xantom got some crazy spawns next to packs many times on dm2 last night :D

At one point he had 2hp and deliberately bored into the wall at low rl just to spawn there and get the pack, now with 100hp :)

We've played a few pracs lately vs sr, but mostly it's been a random sr lineup and not their first lineup. A part from that we didn't prac much either, was mostly doing other things past week and now when the season is over I'm hardly gonna start qw for some prac, just waiting to enjoy the final rounds of ownage and eql.

3rd place game tho!

Dunno who seems least motivated to play? Anyway, eql hasent had a great tradition of playing 3rd place deciders, so we thought the season was over after we lost yesterday. Don't know if some of us have already decided to take vacation from QW now or not, but I would guess so.

I thought qw was mainly for fun so it makes no sense to me not to play the bronze game... (sweden winning the bronze in football back in 1994 was the best bronze game ever for example!) :)

Personally i was happy we (csn) won the bronze game in the end of EQL10, div3.

I bet razor just forgot the bronze game for a moment, I'm sure enigma has hunger to win that game. For them 3rd after SR and us would not be a bad result at all I think.

Yeah thats what i was thinking as well. For many clans (in all divisions) getting to semis is a good achievement and you get that extra chance to win the last game of the season instead of just losing in the semis and enter idlemode ;)

Well he had some sound issues earlier on, not sure if he solved it. But I guess he felt like he didn't perform to his usual standard and thought someone else could take over on the last map instead, which we didn't have a problem with, we won't force people to play a map if they don't want to.

unlike SR where paradoks rules over his minions with an iron hand. Anyone who even skips out on the officially authorized pracs will suffer severly punishments!

It's the only way to do things, or there will be total anarchy!
