congrats osams, and gl to osams in the final and ablz in the bronze game!
We got a fullstart except ring and made it count. I got pent+2nd RL and didn't die for about 10 minutes, while thomas was able to take 1st RL and do good stuff with it. We got all pents, most quads and locked down RA = key to victory.
E1M2:
Lots of back and forth as usual for the first 10 mins or so, before we locked down YA/GL and got a comfortable victory. We weren't able to do much good at the quad room and our quad runs weren't that great, but we stopped them penetrating our defences at YA/GL mostly.
DM2:
Chaotic! We had control of tele side for most of the game but they always had 1 or 2 RLs causing havoc at low, and Peppe was a pain in the arse in big room. I had a shocker of a round, and as well as a couple of generally poor quad runs, managed to get squished by Whimp (*shakes fist*) TWICE with quad!
Anyway, we fragged hard and came away with the victory, but we will need to play better than this in the final.
GGs FA, GL for the 3rd place game.
From my point of view osams won the match when they informed us that they could not play Sunday. As we all know Karnage lives in the states and is working until about 23.00 cet on weekdays. When Bigfoot then chose not to show up, the result was 3 - 0 and an easy win for osams. For me personally i look forward not to play BP as i remember the last match. BP is mid/top div 2 and osams is not :)
I hope that no. 1 and 2 goes to div two, so that we may have a div3 where the clans are more even.
On a completely different matter I also think than any former div0-1 players cannot play in div 3 no matter how lousy there mates are. In div 3 one such player can control any map at any given time. I suggest that the rules are amended to reflect this.
Keep in mind that there will be a summer break now and a lot will happen with the clans and players as usual so we cant really do it sports-style and promote topX teams and demote bottomX teams between divisions. If for example exxus and kreuger quit it makes no sense to promote BP on their EQL11 actions. Also if a player like Avenger would start playing with Ax3 we cant really demote them to div3 based on their EQL11 actions either.
We need to make a decision about each clan before every season and obviously some clan will win and some clan will end last. I dont think div3 was ruined because BP won all their games. There was still a large number of very good games. It is funny how some players want to have the system like in sports with promotion and demotion while at the same time they cant accept that in some cases a certain team will have an easy ride until their correct division is found. Hopefully as many clans as possible will keep their current player base for EQL12 so we can do an even better job with placing the clans accordingly.
Have you looked at the table. Yeah BP won 20 lost 0 thats kinda scary but osams won 18 and lost 9. I guess if you remove BP osams would have won 18 while losing 7 and that isnt a very unnatural score for the winning team? Also while looking at the other teams you have 8 teams between 15 and 23 points (here you have pe with 10-3 map score so if they would have played all games they would have been whined about as well). Div3 more even? :/
As for commentating on even/uneven division I think most team feel they have a fair chance to beat us, where as playing vs BP, teams know they dont stand a chance. That's the difference. Dp dp doo.
And the upside of losing is listening to Peppe on mumble, that it so funny :)
Re: prac
We have practiced twice since EQL10. We played CMT on DM3 just before EQL10 and lost by 250 frags, and a few weeks ago we played two rounds of prac against Dark Abbots. That's all.
playing osams in group games I never thought we'd win, and we won by 11 frags(decider map) and that was pure luck..
really tired of people in div3 carrying a team too :E

Theres gotta be a top and bottom, we are at the top along with a few other teams.
Question is, where do you wanna draw the line ? Remove BP, Osams, Paras, Inablaze , PE ? 5 out of 13 teams, or maybe even more ?

It's not easy to predict the outcome, and sometimes these things happen. Yes, with the result in the hand now we can see that BP is misplaced, but could we really see this from the beginning? I would say no, and I also think they have stepped up their game quite a lot throughout the season, something that wasn't so easy to expect?
If you want to come with whine about team placements, then do that in the beginning of the season.
And to gaz: Considering dape has 39 pings in .dk he will mostly likely have at least 52 ms in the dutchland. Might still be the most fair server though :D

tbh why not have one week before the season starts, have teams play vs each other and then give comments to help admins decide how to place teams. So when not playing that intro-week you can't whine afterwards?

We have a 2:1 map win:loss ratio. PE and IAB (what acronym
do you guys use? I was thinking F&F for fix&friends) have
better than that, but finished lower because we were more
active throughout the whole season. I think we were one of

Havent dpne the math but i dont think they had 100% wins
when fix played and 100% losses when he didnt. Just a quick
browse through their matches shows that they both won and
lost no matter if fix was in the team or not. Still, I agree
that it might seem lame to drop down in the division system,
just as persuader did, but atleast fix was in their lineup
from the beginning and didnt lame/whine his way down once

still, you can't defend putting a div1(been div1 for 39
fucking seasons) player in div3 all of a sudden..still nobody seems to get the fact that BP lost 0 games.. that's fucking inhuman when playing in the right division!
tbh why not have one week before the season starts, have teams play vs each other and then give comments to help admins decide how to place teams. So when not playing that intro-week you can't whine afterwards?

your own division!and because I think it's boring, the way they won..
it would be possible to notice by looking at their roster
