We had a good start @ dm2 but managed to stand around tele with 3 rls and all died, after that pc hade water side for most of the game.

On e1m2 it was more even with more or less FFA from both teams but they just fragged a little more than us.

actually i told marv that i wasnt gonna play in div2 anymore as we just win it every time.. so yeah i would like to play in div1 with him but he started this clan up before i could join so they got put in div2.. blame the admins not marv!

I think you misunderstand batfink...

Im not out to offend you, just try to realize that you tried to join too late this time around. Had you been there from the start there wouldnt have been any problem. Perhaps PC would have been in div1 then instead. Now the admin crew decided that you would be too good for div2 and didnt allow you to join. I have explained both to you and marvel the reasons for this and how strange they might be I for one can do nothing about it even if i personally would have another opinion, something which i have also talked to marvel about. Not everyone thinks the same but i am seriously not aiming at taking cheap shots at you no matter how stupid or annoying you think I am.

Besides you say yourself that you got tired of winning div2 each time? Do you want PC moved up to div1 so you can join? That could have been solved right at the start I guess but not now :/

Heh, I see panic is just as much of an objectionable prick as when I was an admin.

Firstly its great to get our first eql match completed and for the most part it went better than expected.

On dm2 we managed to takeover tele/quad area very early on with help from an uncharacteristic successful flood on tele. Managing to maintain contol over the vital areas for large proportions of the match. Keeping pressure on low rl just enough to deflect any chances of chosen taking back any meaningful control.

On e1m2 it could of gone either way really. Very close and enjoyable match, with both teams vying for that all important quad and ya control kept moving back and fourth. More effective quad running and a few crucial rl battles won were the deciding factor.

Now onto my input regarding the batfink debate. Head admin 1tsinen thought it was fair to disallow batfink from joining our team and allow persauder to join finnish team Fraggers United. He chose to deliberately ignore me, even changing his irc nick to avoid all responsibility for this decision. I personally spoke to several admin members, who did not back his inconsistencies.

Personally I do not think that batfink as an addition will make us too strong for div 2. Anyone with any knowledge knows new teams take time to gell and become an established team. This game highlighted it for me really, it felt like we had never played together before.

bst would of been able to advance to div 1 but we broke up, losing that team understanding and activity.

If eql really want to take away the competitve edge from division 2 and 4 then they must merge 1+2 and 3+4 properly. Currently this was not achieved and division 2 especially has suffered the most. Losing numerous teams and becoming the least active.

There has been a lot of unrest in the dressing room and off the pitch problems but hopefully pissedcobs can kick on from here and have a fun season.

As I explained to you Marvel before: I were abroad and on vacation/work and usually didn't have more than 5mins which is tried to explain, so imo everything else about the league goes before your whine. And you had explained the same thing earlier to me maybe 3-5 times in priv, so didn't have any intrest in some shittalk that doesn't matter anyways. We made a decision and there is still no reason why we should change it, so can you try to continue with your life now?

Btw, we actually mentioned the name Batfink when we went thru "who is pillo, who is dillo and who is killo etc". So we based the div2 spot on the following words: "since batfink ain't with them this season let them play in div2"

Oh the humanity. Too bad Batfink can't play this season, woulda been nice to see. I'm not sure how strong persu will make FU as he's been playing 4on4 so little (although so has bat), but it might be the winning card for FU as persu is a beast at holding dm2 tele and generally good on e1m2. Another difference is that FU lost dmt to Sauna just before the season.

All in all, I would have rather seen bat play, and simply hoped that it would not make div2 too lopsided. Even with all the inactivity, panic, marv and batfink have indeed played before and with a decent fourth player, I would imagine them being easy favorites.

Nice facts you got, weirdly most of them are wrong but that's ok I guess since it's your case ;D. Somehow I was there when the decisions were made about persu but your sources not, the thing I was mostly against was changing the decision several days after it was made. Also the logics in case Batfink vs Persu and letting who play where was done by the same "rules" and system we have followed several years, breaking that wouldn't be a smart decisions imo, since then we would have a system that nobody even can explain to them selves.

And the same guys that were not going thru all the teams either when we made the divisions (mostly 2 admins, one of them beeing me made the divisions, one guy might have woken up when the divs were kind of done). I hope this answers some of your favorite questions that imo doesn't need any further talk (and haven't needed either for a while) :/

Never said you were not there when you approved persu. In fact quite the opposite? It was your decision to not approve batfink but to quite happily approve persu.

It is a shame you are not consistant with approving players. The biggest shame of all is I cant play with my friend because you either favour certain teams or are completely ignorant.

The argument we would be too good for div 2 doesnt wash with me and I can back that up with statistical proof. Can you?

Nio thank you for your more detailed response. Panic and batfink are both very inactive and batfink in particular. Persu seems active to me but yes I can appreciate that he has not played much 4on4. Who has? Ive only recently picked it up again. Not that I am against this addition but I am against favourable treatment. FU an experienced team, still have their core players and added a div 1 player in persu. By that logic does that make a new team better? and batfink above div 1?

Does not need any further talk though as you quite rightly said 1tsinen, the decision has been made ;> Not prepared to swallow your pride and admit you are wrong this time.

It is a bitter pill to swallow for us though but we have moved on. Just lost a bit of swagger to our step ;/

Seriously i think both of them have played well enough of 4on4 plus have the individual skill to back it up way above the standards of this seasons div2. its absolutely ridiculous to even comment on them being rusty or having little experience of 4on4. they are very good players by the standards of everything below div0-topdiv1 players. It is also a damn shame that persuader left DA rendering them quite inactive to join a div2 team. Persuader havent enjoyed being placed in the highest division before tho and Ive seen him complain about it and also accuse the admins of placing their own teams in easy divisions. Quite the little griever.

Why should it be backed up if there are several different opinions about how it should be solved? And why should I say Batfink is higher skilled than Persu? Aren't both joining different teams with a different level of skill that just happend to be in the same division (because the divisions are big)?

FU before persu addition were an experienced team with good players. We are a new team with some good players. Experience should not be underrated when it comes to ranking a team. Looked pretty even but to allow them a div 1 player and not us is unfair.

Anyway we will just have to agree to disagree. I think you have ranked us wrongly and will find that out during the season.

Just to make it clear, we lost Dedi and dmt who were our top players and we also have me and Culkey with no 4on4 experience playing now. So we are not Persu + an otherwise tight team atm.
