I mean gunslingers and cze were probably not even close to top 20 teams on scene back then.

I admire BLT that they still want to play their games in div1. Nobody wants to be raped in almost every match, so huge respect for them!

Are you kidding me. You are so lost, this is far from brave. At this point its clear that BLT can't win any maps in this EQL but they shouldnt try to give as many frags as they can for opponent to break the record. Instead they should try to lose as little they could. Running away, stealing armors and trying to gather troops in the same place.

Im sure if you ask from BLT, did they like about the game the answer is no. In div2 they could have great and equal games with chosen, fu, oc, sd, dc, tossers etc.

But I guess they got what they wanted.

IF you want to have more REAL div1 clans and more games. Maybe some inactive players to start playing again... you should start a money league. Let's say 20€ for player license. And then we would get a price money as in lans. Maybe the scene is too tiny and doesn't work. Thats why second idea is needed.

2nd suggest is that everyone who feels to be div1 or could play with top players could add their name into list. And then we would vote for captains.. just like in mix games. The captain who got the least votes could pick first and so on. 4 or 5 players in a team and boom we have a intresting league!

Yeah money is a good motivation to rise in the division system. Without some sort of benefit players wont be motivated to play in a higher div. :P

Captain idea is good except that many want to play with old friends and in the same clan as they always played with etc. But im not saying it wont work. Definately something to consider.

We could still have this EQL running, so you could play with your friends. But we would get more games for top players and maybe some players between div1 and div2 could get more help and inspiration for progress.

Let's say that Milton would pick last and gets Darkki... that would not change much but in the last or two last rounds he picks up culkey or kippo who could play well in this kind of system. Those players would perhaps get an motivation to play more and while playing with these guys he would learn so much...

And whats the best, everyone could have a change to win this league and money :)
Ofc we would need to drop some of the least skilled guys or who wouldnt be picked up but thats life.

eql pro for absolute top, and regular eql for rest, maybe even allow players to play in both if they want. im sure there would be some kind of mix teams for the absolute top games if people could still do their normal thing in regular eql with whom they prefer.

to play with the idea abit further: in such system lets say teams like fom and sr wouldnt participate atall to regular eql, assuming they have other teams with em in the pro league. wouldnt that remove the rape issue we are dealing with now. new div1 would be current lowdiv1/updiv2 etc.

dunno then what it would to the scene in the long run, would the regular eql top teams have to motivation to improve and someday take part to pro league or not.

think of it as uefa champpions league & euro league in football

I think that is too same kind as regular system. EQL pro would be like 4-5 teams, whine from them to play just against 4 clans. How many EQL pro players or idle div1 players would be able to play in one clan? So what we could get more? Still the same div1 but div2 powered with more div1 stars. Lets say that FU would get Milton, then we got Milton, Diki, Kassim and mr x. Or maybe we want to have one more new member :)

Every borderline we draw between clans will lead to whine since some clan will think they are too bad for the group they are placed in and others will whine that 1-2 clans are too good for the lower group etc.

Best way would be to make 2 big divisions, make them equally strong, all clans play eachother once (15 games per clan assuming we got 32 clans like now and divide them into 2 groups) and when season is over every clan goes to playoffs based on their standing in the division.

Top8 (4 from each division) clans go to highest playoffs, next 8 goes to 2nd playoffs, next 8 to third playoffs and last 8 to 4th playoffs. (Assuming we got 32 clans like now, otherwise just tweak numbers to adapt to the number of clans)

If you want to play qw you will have to play versus all clans or gtfo. You always have the option to just prac if you dont feel like playing vs top teams 4-5 games per season. I think we can demand that after this many years of playing qw.

Cant we all just try to forget that BLT still even exist.I am so tired reading comment about us anymore in these match comments and even some after divsion2 games.Dont use BLT as example about the skillgap between division2 teams and division1.No doubt it is the big but our clan was mixed from the start those ones who wanted to play in division1 and learn to become division1 players and those who wanted to stay in division2.with 50%-50% players with different opinions you cant except solid teamplay when some of the players have movition level 0 for these games.
