It is really more of a scene/player problem, like an attitude problem. Since some div2 clans had very good players from the start it is very hard to prevent others from joining. Especially when they swap other good players for them.

Anyways, there will be a solution next season so dont worry.

You can see who requests what and just deny the request if you think the player isnt suited for div2, not that hard?

You forget that alot of clans already had these players from the get go. Thus it is very hard to deny more players of that calibre from joining div2.

It is a player problem when only the absolute top players want to play in div1 and the others just wanna rape div2 :).

Squeeze was not in div2 to start with and yes, some players in div2, belong in div1, but I think it's fine to have a player like Fix on a team that is really for div3, but when he is playing, they can compete in div2...

But having 2 div1 players in a clan, that doesnt have any div3 players, doesnt make it fine for div2.

And you can't compare Chad to Squeeze, at all.

And to say that "dont worry it will be fixed next year" is just bullshit, cuz we have had these issues alot of years.

Unfortunately you are wrong. Squeeze was in Tossers but was swapped for overd.

You are correct that some players have more or less good backup for their stars but thats true for all divisions as well.

Then it is time to fix the issue that was wrong from the start: the introduction of divisions WITHOUT a working promotion/relegation system. Divisions plain out suck when teams dont really want to progress and the system dont work with all the turmoil in the teams between seasons.

Hooraytio, what I'm saying it's just a suggestion, but I believe there are a few teams on DIV2 that could play on DIV1.

But the situation of DIV1 now is that the teams who play there are ultra good. I remember last season when we (oclan) played with BLT and was a hard game for us. Now they are pretty much alone on DIV1.

I really don't mind play in DIV1, as long as exist some competition for me there, or at least a few teams that I know that I can win if I put some effort.

So, my suggestion would be to analyze the chance to make DIV1 with more teams (let's say the top 4 teams from DIV2).

This would mostly reduce the problem of DIV1 players playing on DIV2 and would also give the chance to have some real competition for week teams on DIV1.

But anyway, it's just a suggestion from a player that wouldn't mind be raped by SR, Fragomatic or whatever other top team as long as I can also face a few teams on the same level as mine.

Despite everything, I'm sure you and the admins are trying to do a good work on that and I hope my suggestion somehow helps for the future EQL seasons.

btw: Hoora why didnt you solve the points system problem? I'm referring to the SRvsTKS playoffs situation from the last season. You promised in one of the previous discussions that it would be takene care of? And there's absolutely no change so far.
You always promise to us that "it will be solved" and then the same problems arise during another season because you either neclected or forgot about a problem.
I also agree that Squeeze+Votary with the addition of Adde and other decent players make it more div1 than BLT for example (which I respect, no offence here).

The point system was rewieved and there is no major flaw with it. The problems always arise when clans dont play all their games.

I was referring to 2-0 and 2-1 wins (more points for the former than the latter) Hoora, not CLANS NOT PLAYING THEIR GAMES.

I know what you are referring to and I think that a win is a win pointwise.

Some criticism towards that is that a team can lose all games 1-2 and still end up higher than a team who actually won some games but lost the rest 0-2.

But you actually did better to steal maps from all opponents than a clan that win a few games and then not even win a map in the rest of the games.

There have also only been you and a few more players disputing the current system so we havent prioritized the issue since it havent been mentioned alot. Maps and divisions seems to be what arises most questions and discussions :)

Just because there are different opinions on how the points should be distributed it doesnt mean that one opinion/solution is a problem :)

well this whole squeeze thing I can't wrap my head around, Oclan allready got an addition in Votary and won their first game against ablz fairly easily, nearly beat sd2 who is considered one of the favorites to win, and they get another div1 player to the team?
Seriously what the hell?
Stop allowing div1 players into teams that are allready candidates to winning the entire division, and only let them into the bottom teams in the div to increase their roster instead.
This is just stupid.

So basically my re-entry into Oclan was rejected by EQL admins (this was AFTER chad was already removed). And now squeeze who is better than me has been allowed to join.

and those whining about me joining Tossers. I was allowed to join Tossers under the condition that Squeeze was removed. Ironic....

just to add to this debate of additions. not that we want squeeze back or anything.

hooray i know you try to do what is best for every given situation and you dedicate a lot of your time to it.

we swapped desmo for od, batfink for springs. then you said squeeze would be too strong in this lineup WITH OD so we were forced to swap him for od.

in fact i was trying to be as fair as possible with you hooraytio by doing swaps rather than clean cut additions. it was my suggestion, not prompted at all.

oclan are just adding who they can where they can by the looks of it. they tried to add votary without removing springs and obviously my swap idea worked out as a fairer solution.

just baffles me the double standards you have shown really. after a fun eql game with inblaze you come up to me and put us under the panic stations. OD addition was a mistake? lol GAME VOID. do you just like giving me a hard time? does my hat offend you or something ;/

joking aside going to take a lot to stop oclan now.
