Division 2 3rd Update

Here is a report from the last bit of action in the division 2 regular season.

Division 2 update

Five more games have been played during the last stretch of the regular season setting the scene for the playoffs. There will be some walkovers also in order to rectify a somewhat limping table.

After adding a few new players Froggers has been able to play another two games. However, even though they played better they still lost both games 0-2, versus D99 and Pew Pew, and will end up in 8th spot of division 2 rendering them a very hard quarter final opponent. If they use their best lineup they might be able to upset their opponent a little on a map or two.

Another late bloomer is Mofos who started really late but cashed in on another two 2-0 wins late in the season. D99 and FNU both lost 0-2 to these guys and proved that Mofos are a real threat in the playoffs. Their quarter final opponent will be settled shortly when a few walkovers have been taken into account.

Division Ninety Nine also played two games in the end of the season, losing soundly to Mofos 0-2 but beating Froggers 2-0. D99 will end up around place 4-5 and get a relatively tough playoff opponent. D99 also played the most games of all clans in division 2 which calls for a Good Conduct medal or the likes.

Pew Pew Blaster cashed in another three points by beating Froggers and will be a serious playoff contender. Their quarter final opponent will be of the easier kind since Pew Pew will end up in the top 3 spots.

Lost Legion looked like the number one clan in division 2 but after an early 1-2 dent versus Paras and a 0-2 loss to Mofos late in the season they will need to grind even harder in the playoffs. Standing at 6 played games they are the 2nd most active clan in division 2 which is a nice feat in itself.
