EQL17

Yes you read it right, EQL will return this fall.

We will open the signups for EQL17 on September 1st and the games are planned to start on September 15th.

Depending on the number of clans we will divide them into two or three divisions based on their skill level. Just like EQL16 and not seeded groups like in EQL15.

The map pool will consist of E1M2, DM2 and DM3.

There will most likely be an A and B playoff in each division. Allthough the B playoffs in EQL16 division 1 was not finished I still think it was the best solution and I blame it more on summer idling than an erroneous system.

The playoffs in EQL16 division 2 was very one sided in the quarter finals and I think the lower skilled clans would benefit from playing the best teams in the group games and then eachother in the playoffs.

Between September 1st and 15th there will be a warmup division in wich all signed clans can partake. This is because I want some action going and also it gives me a chance to see how good the different clans are. I will add fixtures between all signed clans and will also add more games between the clans if they wish to play another clan more than once. Also, it is not mandatory to play versus every team or play anything at all.

I also hope Zalon will wake up to add the EQL17 site but if he doesnt I have a reserve plan.

Now, start gathering your mates and prepare for signups and warmup!
