EQL 20 season format, final version

A few more teams joined our ranks during the last day of signups so this is how it will go down. Also, the season starts today September 7th.

Format
At the moment there are 14 teams signed for EQL 20 and splitting them up in two divisions just doesnt seem right in order to keep some activity in the QW scene. Therefore all clans will be placed in one large division this season as well.


Group stage
During the group stage all teams will face eachother once wich means that every team will have 13 group games. All group games are best of 3. The group stage starts on September 7th and ends on November 22nd.


Playoffs
At the end of the season the top 4 teams will reach A playoffs and the teams placing 5th to 8th will reach B playoffs while the remaining 6 teams will reach C playoffs. All playoff games are best of 5.
The playoffs will start on November 23rd and end on December 20th.


A playoffs
The top 4 teams will qualify directly for the A playoff semifinals. In semifinal 1 the team on 1st place will meet the team on 4th place and in semifinal 2 the team on 2nd place will meet the team on 3rd place. The winners will meet in the A playoffs final and the losers will meet in the bronze game.


B playoffs
The teams on places 5 through 8 will qualify directly for the B playoff semifinals. In semifinal 1 the team on 5th place will meet the team on 8th place and in semifinal 2 the team on 6th Place will meet the team on 7th Place. The winners will meet in the B playoffs final and the losers will meet in the bronze game.


C playoffs
The teams on Place 9 and 10 will qualify directly for the C playoff semifinals and the teams on place 11 through 14 will battle it out in the quarterfinals for a spot in the semifinals. Team 11 will meet team 14 and team 12 will meet team 13. In semifinal 1 team 9 will meet the winner of 12 vs 13 and team 10 will meet the winner of 11 vs 14. The winners will meet in the C playoffs final and the losers will meet in the bronze game.
