Mid season report

With 6 weeks to go I think it is time for a mid season report. Read on to see whats up with your favorite team.

Most of the teams have played by now but there are 6 teams with 3 or less games played so they really need to step it up during the last weeks of the season.


Crazy 88
C88 led by Skillah has done what has been expected from them so far with a clean sheet over 7 games. They havent really been tested yet as they havent played vs SD, FOM or 3B and those games will be a defining point for them this season. No problems so far on their way to A playoffs. Skillah also managed to set a nice personal frag record of 177 on DM2 vs D99B. Well done!


Suddendeath
Suddendeath are looking strong so far with 6 straight 2-0 victories. However, much like C88 they havent played any hard games yet and the threat from FOM, 3B and C88 looms over the horizon as the season is drawing towards a close. It seems like Rikoll is fitting in nicely and Rio is doing a good job so far as well.


Beer bear balalaika
3B have, with the exception of a map loss against SD2, also a clean sheet but they have only faced the lower part of the table so far. The map loss against SD2 proved that there might be a few surprises for them along the way against clans such as CSN, FU, DC and 020. So far a place in the A playoffs are within their reach and their games against mid and high tier clans will be really interesting.


Fraggers United
With impressive wins against CSN and 020 FU might be on their way to the A playoffs. The game against 3B will most likely be the key for them. Other bumps in the road are of course SD2 and DC, who havent played yet, that looks like strong teams.


Chosen
With the exception of a 0-2 loss against FU the season is proceeding as expected for CSN. The 2-0 win versus 020 was an important step for them in order to secure a top8 position and so far it is looking good. Other games that will be important for CSN in order to stay in top8 are SD2 and DC and the game against 3B could be a thriller provided that CSN field their best lineup including additions like votary and od.


Fatal error
4 games into the season and FE has played the absolute top and bottom teams leaving me with little to no clues about how good they are. Their upcoming games against teams like FU, CSN, 020 etc will test their abilities but I still think they will end up in C playoffs. The amount of good teams vying for B playoffs are just too many for FE to be able to squeeze into B.


Division ninety nine red
7 games and 0-14 in maps so far but their most exciting games are still to come. Their game versus FE showed some glimpses of light as they were able to go above 100 frags on both maps. I am really looking forward to their derby against D99B and also their games against Paras and Wrong game will most likely prove to be enjoyable from a spectator view. Other than that not much have changed for these guys except a few improvements and it looks like they could become a stable lower tier team instead of a pure punching bag in the future.


Suddendeath 2
Only 3 games into their season it is hard to know where SD2 stands. They played well against 3B and managed to win a map and they will be a potent threat for clans aiming for a place in B playoffs. However it seems SD2 are having some problems getting games played and I hope they can raise their activity some in the second half of the season. Still a contender for B playoffs if they start moving.


Division ninety nine blue
Using the same strategy as D99R, play the hardest games first and save up the close/fun games for last. However, they have played against FE but didnt do as well as D99R. I feel that D99R might be slightly better than D99B and I am really looking forward to their derby. Other than that their status is about the same as D99R and if they keep playing they will evolve and become a clan to count with in C playoffs of future EQLs. For this season though, there are alot of tough clans that will make it too hard for them even in C.


Felia 020
020 are off to a disappointing start with losses against B playoffs rivals like CSN and FU and if they dont improve their spot in B might be at risk as clans like SD2, FE, LB and DC are still waiting for them. Some internal problems has led to inactivity and some battle fatigue but if the core with raket, dopas, shaka and aikon shape up a little they still have alot of games to improve their track record.

The rest of the clans have played too little but from what I have seen Paras is still a contender for C finals along with Luso Brasiliero. That is unless LB gets into B as they felt really strong against CSN. Fragomatic will reach A if they just can start playing. I also hope to see DC and WG play some qw but at the moment it looks really dark.
