Prediction and overview of Division 3!

2008-05-24 14:16 by Itsinen

... Well here we go, we will keep adding predictions as soon as they are ready... Try to enjoy :)

Quakeklan:

This is a team with a quite large variation skillwise. So it's pretty much up to who is playing. Without Ted and Mogge you would maybe not bet these as winners even if all other players are quite solid 4on4 players and are sure to have a chance to take home quite many maps even with "b-lineup". Half of the team are unfamiliar with Cmt-maps.
Strong points: A-lineup, 2on2.
Weak points: Cmt maps, big ? for b-lineup.
2on2: Winner candidate.
4on4: Top2.

Clan Hafog Troopers:

It's a very famialiar clan to me, probably since I play with them. Biggest weakness is probably talking crap @ ts2 after beeing -20f behind and ruining the chances to win... but since this has improved lately there is a chance to even beat the top clans of the division which the dm2 probably showed against QK. Strongest maps are the Cmts and mid-level on tb3.
Strong points: Cmt maps, same lineup in most of the games.
Weak points: Ts2 when behind in frags, teamplay when it just doesn't work. Medars amount of
deaths @ dm2.
2on2: Mid.
4on4: Mid.

Team Freedom:

A bunch of old Freedom players and some "other guys" collected together just when season started. This could become anything! Elguapo and Rickson(Cage) in the roster so they've got a really solid squad when you add the old Freedom player into it. The biggest question is will they get a solid teamplay together without any pracs? Cmt-maps might also be unfamiliar for some of the players but in the only game vs BS they atleast played the Cmt3 quite strongly... but is it enough against the kenyaclans?
Strong points: Can win any clan with any lineup, Tb3 shouldn't be a problem for these guys.
Weak points: Cmt = ???, some of the players are rusty.
2on2: Top3.
4on4: Top2.

Bukkake Samurai:

A new and still old clan that is alive again. With new in this case = the players. Only Rohva (who was removed due to work on evenings), Nihti and Yari afaik are old members of BS. But with players like Junkass, Slaughter and FX (afax) they could take on any clan if they somehow manage to get them together for a game. So far very different lineups in the 2 games they've played which is probably not a too good thing. But on the positive side this is one of the few clans that actually let everybody play. These guys are also one of the few clans that actually trys to prac almost every evening, so you never know what will happend in the end of the season!
Strong points: A-lineup and motivation to prac (activity).
Weak points: Changes in lineup.
2on2: 5-6th, might come higher depending on lineup.
4on4: 5-6th.

SmackThatAss:

Old clan that has been quite active again lately with the same lineup for ages(minor changes ofc). What can be said about sTa that has not been said earlier? Personal skill between these guys is on the same level which makes it easy to field anybody. Dm2 is much played by these guys but the game against QK didn't seem to go like they would have wanted it to go. So was this a warning from QK that they are on fire or was it just a plain simple maplock for most of the map? Well I'm sure sTa will take home some maps but they will probably have to struggle without pracs.
Strong points: Dm2 has been the strong map for sTa afaik, equally skilled players.
Weak points: No pracs, some players might be unfamialiar with the Cmt-maps.
2on2: Mid. Strong on dm2.
4on4: 5-6th.

Apocalypse 2008 Summer!:

A2k is playing as always, they just have seemed quite inactive and due to that might have to struggle quite hard against BS and sTa this season. On the positive side A2k has always been good on kenya so I'm confident about them taking some maps from almost all teams. Tb3 is mid-skilled so they should be most probably fighting about the position with CMT(CHT) as always. Skillwise there is no weak link so if they get the little rust shaken off they'll do just fine this season.
Strong points: Cmts and no weak players in lineup.
Weak points: No pracs/officials played lately so might be rusty.
2on2: 5-6th depending on how active.
4on4: Mid.

I hope you enjoyed reading it!

Nice read Itsi!

I definitly agree that we have skill variations in clan, with ofcourse TED and mogge being on top. Funny thing is we are all good at different stuff and compliment each other in a way that really works :-)

Btw, since keno isn't playing qw no more we only have 5 ppl, a B-lineup would be pretty hard to get. It would be if we switched Ted with apok, and that kind of makes the lineup we had in NQR, which also is a pretty solid one.

think you are right about a2k, didnt read the rest yet. Anyways i doubt we manage to get more than 50% of our games played. But will be fun anyways.
