What's the situation? (Overview)

As I finally have some short moments to actually write something, I started thinking that I actually could write something about what has happened and what is coming up.

Since the end of the season is getting closer and clans have actually woken up quite ok, started to play and the activity seems quite like it should at the moment, so this might actually be worth writing about.

Let's start with the obvious... DIVISION 1!!!

Div1:

As probably most already know, tVS has had a strong start and has only lost one Dm3 against Koff. 3B put up a proper fight also on Dm3, but didn't manage to keep the lead to the end and lost by a quite small margin. Now there's only left SD, cMF and fOm to play against, but since the last rumours has been that fOm will not play, I guess we are down to SD and maybe cMF who managed to fail getting 4 on the server for several times. CMF has added some players and hopefully they will actually play their games, also seeing Angua and Mem back on servers (even if not in eql lineup) there is always a chance of getting those games played. Druidz have not been too active and because of that I could think that they would actually have to struggle a bit to keep at top. Hopefully we will see Koff vs Druidz soon so we will get some kind of pictures of who might be vs who in the playoffs!


Div2:

The second division has started off quite slowly only getting some games played the latest weeks. In the lead at the moment is SD2 with one point before Dies Ater who has stolen a map from SD2 but did beat Oblivion 2-0. Sadly Sega will probably not play any games this season due to player issues. We can of course hope they will find some subsitutes but we can't count on it. AQ as active as always, 0 games played. But I got info that Quakeklan will get some games played now that player problems are solved and have been praccing some the last evenings. So watch out SD2 and DA! NO! is probably favorite in betting of who will win this season but I reccon is beatable since they haven't really pracced much lately. If they get their pracs together and actually starts playing some official games they will be somewhere close to the top, but where exactly? But nice to see some games getting played in Div2 after several years of bad luck and inactivity!


Div3:

This is one of the more active divisions. With Chosen leading but has one more game played than the Hips. Also Fusion is one of the favorites but has only 1 game played so far, so nothing is really certain of who will top this division. DC has also showed some strong maps but seem to varie a bit from game to game. FU and RoT will probably not play any games in this division which is sad ofc. The clan who got most whine before the season was probably UQE, who has had some tight maps but are still waiting for their first mapwin. But they've also played to top clans only so far, Hips and Fusion so they might still end up in playoffs. CF has lost all maps so far but has only a frag difference of -117 so quite close maps, so they might aswell be up to something later this season. This is probably the division which is the biggest questionmark of who actually will end up in playoffs. Hopefully we will see some dramatically tight games in this div as it has been so far.


Div4:

A2k is at the top atm. They've stronly won 6/6 maps so far and are certainly into playoffs. The biggest surprise here I guess is that they've played so good straight away without really any pracs before their first official games. But they still haven't played against Naim and CMT which at the moment seems like their strongest opponents. Last predictions what I've heard about who will win who is something like 50/50 in the case of A2k vs Naim. SSC has been the most active clan so far and are getting in shape after a very long pause, nice to see them back in action! =FA= is still a questionmark, they have good and solid players but still have lost both of their games so far. Will this change? FU2 got dropped down from Div3 to 4 since they are active but lacked all their Div3 players (are not included in their div4 either) and is a true questionmark at the moment. They might get into playoffs as a top clan, but might aswell be fighting of the bottom places? Osams and Quakeklan2 are out of prac so I will predict them as quite low this season, this might ofc change if they'll get their team together and actually start playing more often! A2k into playoffs and Naim also, the rest ain't clear yet, so let's see what happends!


Div5:

Na Fianna in a clear lead with 0 maps lost and is the favorite to win this division. They are also the most active clan so their shape will not probably change atleast during this season. BLT has won one game and lost to Na Fianna in their other, close dm2 showed that they are capable of putting some preassure on the enemies if needed. Sadly this has been one of the most inactive division, even with clans like Quinas in it who has 0 games played. Lastentarha, Bu$h and WBR has also shown no activity. Not even pracs seen by them so this looks like all the active ones will make it to the playoffs. We still ofc hope that all games will be played here, and might consider a round #2 against the clans if clans get their "first round played" fast.


Div6:

Comfortably Numb in a quite clear lead here and there has only been stolen one map from them so far. Straight Edge got this one @ dm3. TPA vs CN was played last night and TPA also showed that they are capable of struggling back with a tight E1M2. Poland Div5 has still 0 games but gladly we can say that the rest has got a start at last! The round #2 of these clans will show who will top the division. CN as a favorite atm.
