Playoff changes

Changes added to the upcoming EQL playoffs, please take the time to read the full article!

Notice: For those (if any) who didn't get it, these changes where just a April fools' joke and is unfortunately not gonna happen afterall :(

However I still think e1m8 would be a good asset for the qw tdm scene :D

To compensate for the lack of custom maps during the regular season of EQL, we've decided to add 2 custom maps for the upcoming playoffs, this is done to make the best of five games more interesting for the spectators.

The first map selected is a brand new team deathmatch version of e1m8 created by Finnish CPM mapper Jkoff. This map comes with a similar playstyle to dm3, and like dm3 it also feature both a pent and a lightning gun.

For the second map, we leave this to the community to decide, whether they want to see previously used CMT maps or something new and different. To make your vote matter, please post your ideas for the second map in the comments to this news item.

The decision to add kenya maps to the playoffs might not be the most popular choice by a small portion of the community, but after reviewing a recent poll at the QuakeWorld.nu forum regarding the issue, we - the EQL crew has decided to give kenyas a second chance in EQL, as the majority of players seem to agree on adding new blood to the map pool.

Good idea imo. Also great not just to add CMT3+4 but trying to bring in some fresh ideas for additional maps. Personally I think Schloss is a great map, may be an alternative. E2m2tdm also comes to my mind.

i know qwscene doesnt consist of the smartest ppl in the world but this is just retarded, the important games on some maps many teams havent even played?
