DIV5 events issue 1

It's time to fire up the engines of my column :). I'm trying to cover events as objectively as possible.

It's good to see that the clans of this division show more activity than EQL1 combatants.
By above date, there's only 1 match without a confirmed record.
Remember: WOs are worse than losing, because effort is what makes a match exciting!

It also looks like that DIV5 is now truly DIV5, there's no clan like there was in EQL1, eg. RoT and DC, who busted all other clans easily.

Now let's take a look at the first week's events.

Clan Cube Squad engaged The Gibbers. DM3 wasn't too difficult for them.
But on DM2, they had to tighten up their ranks against the continous offensive led by Putte. The Gibbers failed despite they were well organized.

The Russian gentlemen (Misters) unfolded their rocket launchers and gave the Portuguese shadow death a severe asskicking at dm2.
I didn't see them playing, but this record is remarkable, even with the annoying ping differences. Probably they were able to establish a map lock early in the game.
CMT4 was a very close one, and I think with equal pings SD would've won that map.
Now we can only guess what could have happened on the decider (next time use minping, guys!)...

The OldOnes fought with courage and endurance against Jagarna. This match was the first in this season where nobody knew the outcome in advance.
Pings were low and both skills and teamwork ran high!
On the first map, E1M2, there were only a 2 frag difference for Jagarna. The last seconds must have been fierce!
Then on DM3 OldOnes won with about 30 frags, but Xero caused them a heart attack by sneaking in behind their backs.
The decider was DM2. Tension in the air, in every corner. The ideal strategy would be a complete map lock, but both of them knew it's only possible if they have a full start.
They won with a bit more than 20 frags, which projects there weren't any maplocking at all.
I'm sad I didn't see them in action!

And last, but not least, Vitun Kova Bosse and Suddendeath.project met on the virtual battlefield.
SD.P removed their safety catches with haste, planning to get a lot of frags.
On DM2 they won with about 160(!) frags, so I guess they managed to lock the map down. VKB wasn't able to recuperate.
The second map was the all-time Kenya CMT3 (sorry, I dislike it), and SD.P won this one with 90 frags.
I'm eager to see them in action against the tougher clans!

The other newcomers, Loser Squadron 2 were yet to play their match, so I don't have anything more to say.
Get on with it, guys, show us what you have!

"Clan Cube Squad engaged The Gibbers"

Congratulations! Whens the wedding?
Will it be ...an evil shotgunwedding perhaps?

I think we won't marry them right now. We have to experience their behaviour when living together.
I'll make sure to post the date of wedding, etc. Keep tuned! :D

Someone better watch during the first night, to make sure they're all virgins. :E
