Fragomatic calls it a day

After a very successful first season of European Quake League the EQL1 champions in Fragomatic has decided not to participate in EQL2. The reason for this is that they aren't planning to play as much as they think is required to compete in division 1 this season. This is some sad news as Division 1 would've been very interesting with Fragomatic competing amongst the old top clans like tVS.

However, we thank them very much for their Quakeworld propaganda games the previous season and wish them welcome back in the future. Concerning the individual players, they're of course welcome to play for other clans who wants to add them as "late additions".

valla dont even have the energy to play enough this season to play with us.. so we will never know! he will only play ladder for us.

yeah I was really looking forward to see how fom would finally would do against some real competition.. seems like a weird time not to play now that all the top clans has returned..

boring :( its the same for us, we dont have spoink this season and me/rep has lots of school so we cant probably play one single prac, only eql games, we are really lucky if we even go to playoff with only 4 qualifying, omfg zz lolz sdfjhg change it to 8! ;D but its still fun to play thou

raz that is common *problem*,i am afraid. we (cmf) agreed also to play only the officals.. 1 game per week (tm) ...when we looked on cmfs overall status while making the decision about joining the leaque or not...

ppl who sign up to idle throught the league arent helping anyone i believe..

it sure is sad to see f0m leaving coz of inactivity or something, even tho you see their ppl on servers almost everyday..well only manu i havent seen lately...have to say this kinda makes me wonder the real reasons behind this :P

but like raz said...it is fun to play, specially with this old team again...where we'll endup without pracs i dunno...but i guess we are about to find out..

Actually, there are several reasons for us not participating this season. As most of you know, quake demands quite some time and motivation, which we do not have enough of in the near future (and therefore are the main reasons). So we are taking a break, which in fact feels nice.

But don't you worry - we will be back though, fully recharged! =)

As for the promising returns of top clans this season one can only say it's unfortunate - I'm sure we will see some great action anyway.
