Buenos dias, bitches!

Soooo, I'm back from Las Palmas and ready to do some reporting. Well, actually I'd rather be doing nothing but I suppose I owe it to Sassa to write something. Since there are so many matches to report I'll do them one by one in separate updates. First up is tVS-LA, where Lege Artis introduced yet more new stars, Inferno and Rock. I'm sure everyone remembers Rock as the driving force behind clan Zetor's success a few years back, and Inferno you might know from the Swedish clan assassins.

tVS ? LA

DM2
tVS got both first rocket launchers here, while riker got the quad for LA. TVS also got the second 2 rocket launchers, but unfortunately Milton drops the other one for LA to pick up.

After a solid start from tVS, Inferno somehow manages to get the next quad and procees to take out tVS rocket launchers, the control now shifting to Lege Artis. Milton has another spell of sloppy play, allowing riker to take out not one but two of the tVS RLs at low. This allows riker to get the red armor and mega and get the next few low RLs, racking up frags and growing LA's lead.

After a while tVS managed to flood the tele, very quickly moving guys into position at high RL, quad and NG. After regaining control tVS hold the map for quite a while, running all the quads. LA however defend low RL exceptionally well, not giving the quad runner any chance mount a proper offensive. Finally Milton manages to make a semi-successful attack, picks up the lower RL but unfortunately leaves his own pack behind due to some nice flooding by LA.

For a while neither side really has control of the map, the melee raging in true DM2 style, rockets flying everywhere like somebody declared Jihad. Through this perioid, it's Inferno who holds it down for LA, playing very solidly and not taking too many risks. Eventually it's Inferno who manages to get a few good quads in, finally cementing the Lege Artis control over the map. The control doesn't start shifting again until LA's other new star, Rock, decides to grab a quad for himself. He gets ambushed at secret, then the next quad by Inferno gets owned badly by blAze, timing his attack at the lower RL lift to perfection. The quad after that is driven right into the lava by riker in true JKova style. He manages to take out a tVS RL in the process but the combined effect of the 3 failed quad runs is too much for LA. Over the last few minutes tVS holds control again. Knowing full well that the only thing that could rob them of a map win is a full map lock, LA simply do enough to keep that from happening and win DM2.

Player of the map
Inferno. He plays very solidly for the entire game and runs some important quads for LA.

Inferno gets first RL, nabbe gets quad. TVS floods Inferno at mega and kills him, while nabbe picks up YA and arrives at RL after Rock has just taken it, and Rock bores to nabbe. After nabbe gets YA and RL you'd think ?ok it's over?, especially after his performance against GTG. But tVS keep nabbe pinned down at mega with some nice flooding and GL/SNG spam, and he is unable to move to YA or quad.

Meanwhile, riker has somehow managed to sneak his RL+mega combo to YA and grabs it. TVS finally takes nabbe down and come close to getting riker too, but he seems to be very much on top of his game and manages to stay alive and secure the YA area for Lege Artis. He is finally taken down by yet more strong flooding while trying to pick up the next quad. Thankfully nabbe has managed to pick up mega, RL and YA in the mean time and holds the fort at GL/YA for a while until he's taken down. The map is now in tVS control with mirage leading the way, holding the mega/YA/RL combo that riker had just moments ago. Once again riker shows his E1M2 prowess, playing some nice CS and finally launching an attack on YA through spikes. Mirage takes him out though and holds the map for a short while until almost boring on the YA platform and getting gunned down.

Milton takes over and gets a few nice quads in, and finally decides to attack mega. He takes out 3 Lege Artis players at mega but nabbe is on point to pick up his team mate's pack and takes out Milton.

Towards the end, Inferno has some very nice quad runs before being taken out by a nice attack at YA. Riker saves LA once again though. Blazing through the map, he takes out RL after RL and keeps tVS on the run. The remainder of the map is pretty much about going through the motions, the match already decided.

Player of the map
Riker. Makes it look so easy taking out 3 RL players in a row. Bails LA out at least 3 times in this map.

Overall, this match was extremely well played by both sides and really shows what a good season we have in store, spectator-wise. I will upload the demos to CHTV later so be sure to check them out.

If you find any factual or spelling mistakes , please point them out to me and I'll fix them.
