#3 2006-01-30 22:33 by gaz
Why not? We have lost all our games so far and you have won all of yours easily.
It's exactly how we expected :P
#4 2006-01-30 22:43 by dje
well we did see you beat zoo 5 minutes earlier and i think you have a good
line-up. (lunna missing)
#5 2006-01-30 23:00 by gaz
Zoo don't have muti :/

and ggs stefan, detsamma :)
#11 2006-01-30 23:21 by gaz
Didn't say you wouldn't have dje ;) But you can't deny that we were very close
in our ladder games last autumn. I don't think we can compare with how well we
played then anyway - we aren't competing with clans in the same way at all and
stefan and I were saying just now that our tactics have gone to shit.

gaz, very true. osams seems out of shape nowadays and we've been playing fairly
well after and on qh-lan. im just hoping we can keep it up until the end of
playoffs :)
#14 2006-01-31 00:11 by Hagge
hehe I think osams kinda gave up even before the start of the season just
because they didn't believe they had anything to do in div2.. why I don't know
since they really have the potential to be in the top of div2!
#15 2006-01-31 01:17 by pepin

#17 2006-01-31 10:15 by gaz
We never gave up Hagge. We practice often and we are just as active as last
season. I don't know if everyone has got better or if we have got worse, but
whatever it is we aren't playing as well as we were. We lost big to SM on DM3 in
prac last week.
#18 2006-01-31 12:14 by fnosk
I miss you, pepin! <3

ggs boys...finally the game was played(?) e1m2(oblivions map) was ok from our
side..never been and will never be our strongest map so :)
@ dm3 we lost to a better team.. unfortunily this was my +forward day so that
kinda messed things up.. hihi..gg's anyway...
dje sadpanda..
#21 2006-01-31 20:19 by aikon
well well well..... i follow this eql site every damn day and been following qw
for long time(though not active in qw right now)
but gaz: its true what Hagge says; from the beginning of this season all i've
'heard' from your side is how badly your team will get raped in div 2 and
blablabla, i've been a teamsporter all my life and i now that if that just one
player on the team doesnt have faith in the team, the rest of the team will
share the "lack of spirit" , whether its qw or basketball or soccer or
whatever!
otherwise u rock gaz, i got nothing but love for all the ppl keeping qw alive
and funny! peace out, smoke one or two!
#22 2006-02-01 00:12 by Hagge
exactly my point aikon.. dunno how you had the energy to put it that well though
:) about sm I must say that they have improved enormously since last season.. so
that's probably the reason why they raped you so bad.. there's no doubt that
they belong in div2 right now!
#23 2006-02-01 09:00 by gaz
We haven't gone into any games thinking "we will lose". In fact we've
had a few really close rounds in this season. The fact is though that we were on
a bad run of form before the season begun, and when you are losing practically
every map (we won 1 map out of 5 in prac vs LS last night) you seem to feel like
nothing goes your way and you can't remember how to win anymore. The DM3 win vs
HHHV was the only time I've played recently where it felt like the teamplay of
last season/autumn. And yes, SM have improved, but not by that much. MM kicked
our ass in that prac, and our teamplay usually used to be enough to take him
down but we just ran around like headless chickens. Someone fix us ;<
#24 2006-02-01 12:43 by angua
...I will try, to fix you...
#25 2006-02-01 12:53 by to osams
It's not like osams ever fielded steppa, xtalon, lunna and gorbatjevtarzan on a
map anyway. You would most likely have won some of the close games with that
lineup, like SSC. Other close games you had on e1m2 (LS, HHHV, luis) always you
were playing with 56ms, tyrone who can't play e1m2 or both!
Besides on dm2 vs LS you played instead of tyrone what might've made the
difference. If you had fielded your best lineup more often I figure you would
probably have 8-10 points by now.
I'm not waiting for a story that's called 'we're not serious enough and not able
to field our best lineup all the time' because that is not my point. The point
is that you didn't have to end as low as you are ranked at the moment and that
you might not be so much out of shape but you are just fielding the wrong
players.
#26 2006-02-01 12:56 by menth0l
That's what happened to us this season pretty much; bad lineups and playing eql
games without praccing first. There's always next season :}
#27 2006-02-01 15:23 by gaz
Mr anonymous, at our best we are able to compete with clans in this division
without playing what you think is our best line-up. We are not a clan to
sacrifice each other's opportunities to play in favour of a higher chance of
winning. What is frustrating and what we can't explain is exactly why we aren't
playing well. Not so long ago we could beat Oblivion (albeit without Muti) on
DM2 and DM3 quite comfortably, but now I doubt we'd do quite so well.
#28 2006-02-01 15:41 by stefan

#31 2006-02-01 17:43 by dje
in our "defense" gaz, we take eql games a little more serious than
pracs and usually play a little more diciplined then (which usually means we
force fnosk to "STAY RA!!!", cause no one else wants to :).
#32 2006-02-01 18:07 by aikon
hagge the energy came from sitting infront of the computer watching gaz talk
about the osams-is-misplaced all season, especially since i see gaz as an
important person to the qw scene.
peace out, smoked out
#33 2006-02-01 18:35 by gaz
I never said misplaced! We deserve to be in div 2 because we won div 3. I just
said we wouldn't do well in div 2 ;) You won't find a single post from me saying
we should have been in a lower division.
