Seems like the new code has some bugs ;) The poll is not
updated and the teams page have errors. Premortem or
?keVader will fix this as soon as they can.

Polls are fixed, but fragstats will probably have some error
until the league start. But It will be top notch by then. I
promise :E

torward fresh QW.
#4 2007-02-25 23:54 by Sassa (85.228.80.XXX)
Im against it and I will do everything I can to prevent it
to be allowed ? sassa
hehe

Fakeshaft allowed?
More players will drop qw :( .

The ezquake security thing don't stop me from using
fakeshaft with linux version v1514 (and v1754 don't work at
all in Linux).
I don't know about other combinations of ezquake versions
and OS:s but if we can't stop everyone from using it there
is little point in this debate.

hacked(by Bigfoot) ezq security for linux ver 1514 allow me
to use aimbot. So lets allow any custom build of client.

It's possible to make your own fakeshaft using all the HUD
commands or a custom crosshair. Banning it now would only be
silly with those kind of possibilites.

blaze, don't suppose you can fool ppl with aimbots anymore
:) its easy to recognize when you know where to look

#12 2007-02-26 13:34 by Hooraytio (89.160.23.XXX)
why do ppl dislike fakeshaft in 4on4?
HEY WE ONLY PLAY ONE MAP WITH LG?
maybe 3 if ppl vote for cmt maps but who cares its not like
shaft will change the outcome vs better tp or other
skills...

You have painted your world in black'n'white and it is not
attractive to people who can still see other colors.. allow
cmt maps, thank you.
#14 2007-02-27 14:40 by Sassa (85.225.113.XXX)
quinn, its up to you (the players) to decide if you want or
dont want more maps in your div!
We will not slow it down, just let you decide
enjoy

correction, ezquake v1517 not v1514.
#16 2007-02-27 17:35 by JohnNy_cz (195.113.25.XXX)
Security module has nothing to do with the rulesets. Also by
"v1754 don't work at all in Linux" he ment that
sound is not working in linux for him.
#17 2007-02-27 20:30 by killy (83.70.166.XXX)
ezquake 1754 working fine for me in Linux.
#18 2007-02-27 21:56 by quinn (84.248.159.XXX)
sassa, yea the comment was directed to the community, not
the admins, my bad :)

aha, Johnny means that Term don't use -ruleset smackdown
when he start ezquake.
So, f_ruleset will show it.
#20 2007-03-01 10:35 by Kalma (88.115.43.XXX)
He is using ruleset. Seems like a bug in Linux version. In
Windows you get the "cl_fakeshaft is write
protected"-message.

#16 i fail to see the difference, if it was video that did
not work I'd say that the client is not working too.
#19 no, I do everything by the book, it's a bug. http://werty.or

I actually got it working too, using an older kernel
(2.6.12), older alsa-libs (1.0.8-3) and possible some other
older stuffs too, dunno which one of them that did it for me
tho.
