Playoffs starts NOW!

With a little special version of the site we will begin the playoffs now... (The opponents and schedules are in this post so read it!)

Well as regular season ended (and qhlan) a while ago we have had some problems with getting everything done here, hoping for it to be fixed but since still no light in the end of the tunnel we have decided to make a "textversion" to get the playoffs started!

As earlier mentioned: Division 1 has top8 in playoffs and all Divisions from 2-5&rookie has top4 to play against eachother.

As a small reminder:
-Regarding playoff with with best of 5 (tb3) maps: Play first three maps like normal, ie all tb3. The team that is down by one map will pick the 4th map and no map can be played 3 times.

-Top4 in each division goes to playoff with best of 5 games directly in the semis!
#1 vs #4 and #2 vs #3!

And because of pages not working you can /pm me about the scores atm. Save shots also, if we get the page working we will have them up a little bit later. I will make new posts on the front page every little while so you know who has won who etc.

Schedule:
Division 1:
2 first playoff games played until Sunday 20th (2 weeks), if they are played during the night between sunday-monday it's also accepted.
Division 2-5&rookie:
First playoff game played... (read div1)

The finals (and bronze matches) will be played before sunday the 27th (monday 28th morning)!

I hope people will also tell the goldrush people when playing so we can get some bets up :)

Division 2, round 1:

Division 3, round 1:
#1 NO! vs #4 Hips
#2 FU vs #3 [DC]

Division 4, round 1:
#1 EQ vs #4 Csn
#2 CMT vs #3 3B

Division 5, round 1:
#1 Fian vs #4 VKB
#2 AV vs #3 READ

Division Rookies, round 1:
#1 MR vs #4 MoO
#2 CN vs #3 Shortys

... And as a confirmation to that i've got the results to the games I will pm you back something! If I don't, then message me later again.

I ask you how long is this bore fest going to continue? The entire league has been utter rubbish and the playoffs are meaningless. Watching/playing non-competitive playoffs are very boring you need to stop this league and progress with NQR before the scene dries up.

EQL to me seems like it was ran by div 4 standard players as div 4 and 5 are packed to the rafters allowing for these standard of players to enjoy the league. Where as the div 1-3, especially 2 get to have another boring time playing very few games and the same minority of clans/players.

I hope EQL realise for the future that this has been unsuccessful, the division system does not work anymore there are far too little active clans, definitely 1-5 anyway! I cannot foresee another EQL but if there is I hope you learn from your mistakes, which you have not done for this season. The NQR system is much better and is always more fun to play in.

I take it from your boring post there is no EQL team and your running it single handily, A for effort F for application.

I wouldn't put it _all_ on the eql crew, many clans signed up and went idle directly... that's not helping the league.

Well always nice when ppl post behind "hidden nicks".. The thing is that because of all those clans who signed up and became inactive right away in div1-3 the division were quite fucked up. And we will consider new division system for next season. The biggest problem was absolutely imo that the season just somehow became looooots too long, and there's not much to do about it. If your not intrested in playing the playoffs I can't help it, but because of NQR starting soonish you could also consider these playoffs as a little warmup for the next season. But the absolutely best thing with this season was the whine, everybody whines about "do this and do that" -> well become and admin and try to fix it.. We are 2 (!!!) admins who has any time atm and the one fixing all the pages has disappeared -> This is not a good thing ok? And yes I know we made mistakes etc, but not much can be fixed with letting the whole playoff thing die away, that would lead to that clans wouldn't signup anymore for EQL since they don't know if the season would be played until the end? This is crappy but it's still better than nothing imo... Some ppl still like to play...

As far as div1 goes, I don't think the system or the league mattered at all. Teams just stopped playing QW for other reasons.
