preliminary Divisions

Preliminary divisions have been made and we are looking for your comment before we start EQL6. You got two days to complain.

You have to consider the system that we follow with regulations.
If a team wins or is second in the division, the team has to go to the higher division next season.
However, this can be changed if we give the team a wildcard. (1-2/division)

Directly from the rules:
Bottom2 teams in the regular season will be moved down one division the following EQL if they play all matches and requests it. The only way for inactive teams to get relegated is by wildcards. Top2 teams in the regular season will be moved up one division.

When you post your complaint, include the name of your clan so we dont get 6 complaints from the same one clan.

Easyriders, Core and GTG in div2? :|

They should all be in div1 and maybe put AQ+Clan Brutal into div2 instead.

Move the best team from div3 to div2

Then i would suggest to switch Eeasyriders (div2) vs Clan Brutal (div1). What to do with Core i have no clue...
I also beleive that AQ is div1 within one week..


Reason to move div3 best team to div2 is that both divisions will have 10 teams each giving more struggle for the win and evening out the number of games.

if easyriders stay in div2 they will just run over the others making that division unbalanced and not as motivation to play for the less good clans. Moving them to div1 gives the other div1 clans a little bit more to fight for, i beleive easyriders can end up on 3-6th place in div1...

Here's my comment on GTG being in div2. I'm a little surprised, but I don't mind. Actually, I think whoever put us there might've watched us prac lately and notice we don't really keep div1 standards nowadays. The only map we've managed to win is e1m2 - we've been close on dm2 once or twice, but no cookie. That's using our best lineup too. Toss in one or two of our non-standard players and we get crushed. So it would be fun, for them at least, to maybe play a game or two :)

So unless you beat the top3 div1-teams on all maps you don\'t qualify for div1, good reasoning there dakoth.

If griffin gets >100 vs the current top3 div1 clans, wonder what scores he will get in div2 lol.

Div 1 looking really nice this year, almost not missing ANY of the classic teams. I just hope CMF will prac some too so they can top 5 amongst fom sr tvs and fs

My opinion is that Easyriders should be in div 1. Finally I\'ve come to the conclusion that crushing clans than you know you\'ll win - sux. Only jOn left now to understand that :]. I don\'t think mm and mille wants to play in div2 but they can speak for themselves (nor do I think grisling wants to play in div2). Playing in division 2 feels like \"been there, done that\" with campbusters. When we won nqr div2... Same same but different. Honest jOn, I would rather lose all games in div1 and become better than win all games in div2 and knowing that I\'ve not become even a little bit better. We can prac the div2 clans to prove me wrong. IF they want to prac us that is... Easy in div1... Imho .

Addition: If we'd had the time to prac more, maybe we can even win a few maps vs div1 clans. But where is the time people. Where on earth do you get all time to play this great game? :\\\ I dont have it! and still I would rather lose than win. A whole new Eta-bETa! (now even with EZQuake!).

Well eta-beta. You said it yourself: IF we had the time to prac we COULD win a few maps, but we dont and we wont. We will play in div2, its final, and hopefully prac a few games against div1 clans along the way. And then aftter eq6 we might be a div1 clan. Div 2 wont be a pice of cake if thats what you think, but it will make us a better team for upcomming seasons as we get time to play with our full setup.

P.S Grisling wanna be in div2 D.S

Hi, lets have a good season, show up, make sure you get an email list of your entire roster! Thanks to the admins for your efforts. I'll try and use less hacks this year.
