The rules have been updated and its time for you guys to start your engines and start playing

updated rules:

*Fallbunny OFF (changed to how it has always been in EQL)
*teamoverlay only for division rookie
*FTE illegal
*cl_fakeshaft legal

Thnx goes out to Ake_vader (for 5 great seasons) and KTX/MVDSV/EZQ/EZTV teams.

Inactive teams will be deleted.

maps will be TB3 dm2 dm3 e1m2

knast: many players in rookie know teamoverlay from other games, it might make it easier to get some teamplay going

after lots of discussions we came decided to trash the system that our forefathers (zanne/term) have made for us and step into a new direction.

We will have a new system for the next season.

ps. brutal back in div2.

I've been using ezQuake 1.9 alpha for the last few weeks since trying nQuake out, is 1.8.2 the same as this? I mean if I install it over 1.9 will there be lots of errors etc? Personally I liked fallbunny :p

yeah... more teams to div2!! as was said from the begining... its not even certain that USSR and LS will even play this season... ls hasnt even got a lineup listed!!

Thanks for giving all div1 players 50% higher chance to get out with rl @ dm2 from floating throu big.

Now the gap widens between many clans and players.. Good move there...

yes, i suggest we ban all shaftmaps
and to be on the safe side lets ban all the pentmaps too

playing 4 games / season isnt that much fun.. I'd rather play 10 and get raped 6 of them tbfh...

divisions itself ruined quake... 3 divisions imo .

you need to move some teams into div 2 cause 8 clans sucks and most of which are so idle. this season really is going to suck all that waiting for this crap.

unless this amazing eql team can fix it? did i mention its going to suck!?

or u happy with the way things are? maybe im just uttering crap but i think this is going to be the shortest season yet.
