Captains Report:

DM2: We had moments of good control but our quad runs never managed to take out all their RLs and usually in my case focused on taking out the nearest wall instead. In my defence, the only game I've been playing in the past 2 weeks is Team Fortress 2 and constantly shooting teammates to check they were not spies took its toll on our teamplay. We managed to hang on in the end anyway and came away with a win from the Polish stronghold.

DM3: We decided it would be nice to make it a 3 map thiller so we picked DM3 for a laugh and it would save our favourate map - E1M2 - as a worthy finale. For me, it was just one big FFA and we never held the red armour for long enough. We caught up towards the end but there was never going to be enough time to overtake them.

E1M2: If Stefan/Steppa/Stefappa had his way, every game would be on E1M2 as he loves it so much it hurts sometimes. Our control of YA -> GL was as ragged as hell but Thomas just told us all to sit back and chillax and took it upon himself to save the day. Towards the end, Steppa/Stefapan/Steppenwolf and I decided to hole out at the exit and prance gayly out into the sunset at the end of the game. I think this made Konowal sad that he couldn't join the korvfest and he left in the last few seconds :(

Cheers to Fausto & Friends for being fiendish fighting foes and making a close game of it.

Captains Footnote:

I would have thought that by now it would be pretty obvious that Stefan = Steppa in that he's played 2 games already this season and no ones said anything about it. Although it's kind of funny that I *think* he was the one who set all the silly names but gave himself a plain one. Still, it would have been nice for an admin to just pop onto irc and give us a friendly word about it. Most people should know all of us by now.

And where exactly is the line drawn? As far as I know, I've NEVER used the name mannyceptor :D. Whilst rules are needed, some flexibility in cases like this would be nice, after all we're all doing this for fun (aren't we?).

No offence but I recommend two further warnings to us, since I played as unlisted "pattah" instead of "pattah <3" and "manny" as "manny[c]" instead of "mannyceptor". I feel so unsportmanshiplikish now, sorry. :<
