deus: I think all demos and /lastscores data was cleared from Easy #1 by some admin directly after the game.

The other servers still have the /lastscores data and demos.

Perhaps someone was disappointed with the outcome..

It's a shame though since it was probably the best game I have seen for like a year.

i think its great people donate money to servers and then let people like para have admin access, pretty lame to remove demos and its not the first time he's done it either...

yeah it was a great feeling playing a good eql game vs easyriders and then after the game when you're gonna download the demos they are just gone???

The MVDSV on that port #1 was hung after the game, so I had to restart it. However, THIS DOES NOT DELETE ANY DEMOS ONCE THEY ARE ALREADY RECORDED AND WRITTEN TO DISK!

Therefore I went to check the demodir and noticed this:

813263 2007-09-23 23:53 duel_sheikh_plisken_vs_eski[aerowalk]230907-2343.mvd

Is the oldest demo. It is possible that either 1) demodirsize was exceeded (it's only 128MB) or 2) someone (only ones having access there are me, para and zalon) deleted all the demos, but I can be 100% sure it certainly wasn't me.

Ok, I checked the demos from challenge-tv. They use my configured naming scheme, like this example:

gametype_team1_vs_team2[map]date-time.mvd

(check the demo names: 4on4_koff_vs_]sr[[dm2]230907-2139.mvd)

So they were definitely saved there, but deleted later on.

I downloaded the demos at around midnight from the server, no prob. Demonumbers were 1 8 and 11.

This explains a lot. Demomaxdirsize was exceeded, and demos were deleted in the process.

= No admin deleted any demos. I will increase the demodirsize to prevent this from happening so soon again (there were lots of games going on last night).

Hagge get the demos from ch-tv. I also multiplied the amount of demos to around 20 times the earlier, so this kind of thing won't happen again.
