Skillah? why is it admins fault? last day of playoffs and one team couldnt field 4 players and yu blame admins? I dont get it.

do not blame the admins when you havent played before the deadline. 1 week is enough time for 1 game.

We were one of the most active teams in the league this season. We have played over 100 4v4s since October. We played our league games vs all active teams in the division, and topped the group. We have 5 players in the clan, and for most league games, all 5 players showed up (look for me speccing or on QTV in most matches). Still, to be safe, we tried to add another player to the clan, but we were not allowed.

Then the playoffs are unfortunately scheduled for the week when I am in Vietnam, which leaves us with 4 active players. But that's OK, because these 4 players are active and reliable. We have a team available almost every single night, except on this one occasion while I was in Vietnam, desmo had an accident and had to go to the hospital and could not play. So for the first time all season, there was a window of a couple of days when we could not field a team, until I got back to Ireland on Wednesday.

Some other points to take into account: most nights our opponents did not have a team of four either, even if we had a team. Our opponents wanted to play the fixture, and we agreed to play it on Thursday but the walkover was given instead by the admins. Allowing the Thursday night match to go ahead would have made no difference whatsoever to the scheduling of the Hipps game.

The problem, trash, Hooraytio, Itsinen, is that there is a time for discretion, and there is a time for taking a hard line. You allowed cheaters back into the league to help save division 1, but then you destroy the most interesting and competitive division in the entire EQL.

I don't even see why this is an issue. Can't Fusion and DC just play it as soon as possible? It's not like the final will suffer as a result, and the league as a whole will benefit.

Taking a hard-line approach to the schedule in this instance defies the apparent "for the good of the league" stance that has been taken on many other issues.

Well we can play with F, and still waiting. We had to play yesterday but no one speak to us. We every day on servers so if you get 4 just talk to us.

Hedgepig: If there are problems with playing, contact an admin. Nothing more difficult than that, but since you didn't do it, this is the result. So you can still only blame your selves on this one. Those who played their games after the first deadline did contact the admins -> they got to play. But if we have no f*cking clue what's going on and every night it's "We will play tonight" -> This is what happends.

We have already postponed the deadlines (for all) once because of that game so I am guessing not? (this seems to be something people doesn't understand, when after 2-3 days of trying to contact players and they say they are playing (if anyone is to be found), you just don't believe it anymore because of no contacts and games NOT getting played for several days in a row, and the schedule for all other clans gets postponed, so keep pissing everyone in the eye in div1-6? This isn't just about you guys, wake up!)
Deus why are there admins if you don't even contact them if having problems to schedule a game, and why are there leagues and not ladder (go ahead and check how active the ladders are atm)?

the division was not destroyed just because we didnt allow more postponing of this semifinal, still all games but one will be played.

besides, ok you were in vietnam and desmo had an accident, these things happen and sometimes a team will forfeit a game because of this.

and as itsinen said, if you foresee some problems, try to atleast contact the admins before the deadline or keep the admins posted and it will be easier for everyone. in the end when a game is not played and the admins get no news about it what options do they have? contacting the clans and they keep saying "we will play tonight" but no game is reported night after night...

it is not the end of the world that fusion did not get a chance to play and it is definately not the leagues fault

better luck next season (providing that you all just dont split up and start 3 new clans)

1tsinen the only reason i was commenting is because fusion vs dc/hips should make for a interesting matchup. i'd like to see those games.
of course it's up to the admins if they want to make a point here or let it go. not saying i know the right decision.

It seems DC took wo in the game vs F. They played final game with Hips yesterday, but there's no report at EQL website... ;/

SD2 - QK don't seem to happen either. we lost our players to the real world it seems.

altho the site says we got to march 09 to play it.
