Thats what happens when you don't warm up enough, god damn i fucked up the starts.. Cold hands, reactiontime like a 80 year old. Was fun anyway, much closer than expected. Milton for prez.

Yeah, I think overall the quality of the final may have suffered a little bit from the long christmas break, but it was good fun anyway.

Let's hope the next season is not delayed so long that people move on to summer vacation before it's over.

Very, very good final. The best we've seen in a long time!! ParadokS in the final was $$$$ for SR and they almost pulled it off. Buuut tVS once again played rocksolid tp and with perfect timing of powerups etc took home the thriller.

Yea was ggs, very tight. DM3 has some drama feel to it with Milton/Para top, Milton and tVS just with the edge though.

There were loads of frags which felt really important on DM3, like at 10:30 when Jehar called gg when a kitted SR dude got shafted at SNG. Milton being impossible to kill was a highlight though - just after a spec pointed it out he escaped from an RL/RA nme at sng-tele with 8h somehow, and later on e1m2 he had 1h and a rocket heading straight towards him at quad, only for a teammate to appear at the last second and absorb the whole rocket+splash.

Great that the games were tight even though tVS deserved the 3-0! Is this the first season that the winners haven't lost a single map?

On dm3 para was really great but TVS teamwork rulez on dm3... and Milton...

On DM2 ZERO WAS ASS KICKER!!!! For me this map was for SR...

GGs Slackers. DM3 started fairly well for us even though SR got both rl and pent. I think we killed the first rocket and I was able to steal the 2nd rl from pent but also died myself. I don't really remember any more details but I guess we were able to steal some of the crucial quads and didn't give away unnecessary frags.

In e1m2 we got a better start but didn't use it so well. After ~2 minutes SR got yellow under control and started running quads. Luckily we were able to take down most of those quads and getting yellow back slowly. Most of the quads seemed to die pretty quickly so it was mostly running around, trying to find health / rockets / armor and blasting away with whatever you had.

In dm2 SR had a fullstart but dimman decided to bore his quad rocket in my face and Xantom ran away with the pack. I think their low rl got killed somehow too. Our rocket guys were forced(?! :) to retreat back to ra/mega and SR got 2nd quad easily. From there on it was a difficult struggle for us and we were already like 40 frags behind at some point. Somehow we were able to steal a quad here and there and finally got control of the whole map for a minute or two and made it even. A couple of quad runs more and it was gg.

I hope to see you guys again in EQL11 :).
Thanks to the EQL crew for a great season once again and of course to all (at least almost :L) clans!

Yep, nice summary Milton. It was a nice failure at the start, still laughing at it :)

I mean, ffs I had quad and high rl 6 secs into the game, 2 fkin spawns at big and then the mindfuck: "kill them? get armor? kill then get armor? Bore?" .. I choose bore for the simplicity.

I would like to see f0m vs ussr but maybe thats too much to hope for? Are the f0m guys still around? They should atleast be happy about eql11 being tb3 only i guess :P So maybe they are hanging around for that
