As many have noticed we are getting closer to the end. The activity...

.. has been quite good. There is still room for teams in playoffs atleast in division 3. Lots of them have a couple of games less played than the ones that seem to be getting quite certainly to playoffs and could throw us a thriller or two.

Division 1 has been both good and bad. The 2 games system seems to have worked for several ones, but then there still seems to be quite many clans beeing "semi active" which causes problems. Atleast with deciding on WOs and similar stuff.

We should not forget to mention division 2 which seems to have played almost all their games. I hope the last ones will see the daylight within the few last days. Here I would guess we will not see too many dramatic changes anymore this season.

As most have noticed we are getting closer to the summer all the time. People start doing other stuff than play quake (wtf?). So I believe we will manage without a catchup week this time.

Also REMEMBER the following rule considering the playoffs: Teams in Division 1 must report 2 days ahead in semifinals and further when they will play their games. Also Division 2 & 3 has to do the same considering the finals.

Also we would be intrested in knowing if there are any active players out there that would be intrested in helping out us admins in the fall!

I don't understand the comments about div 1 and div 2 activity. Almost all the active clans in div1 have played more or as many games as the few most active clans in div2. Also you have to take into account that many in div1 will not be able to reach 16 games due to FT dying out.

On the other hand, in div2, where you're supposed to have 11 games played (discounting lava beds and -i-), most teams are still 2-4 games behind?

I really liked the two official game format for div1!

yeah , the activity in div 1 is quite nice and the "2 games per season" system has worked and must be maintained!!

I have to admin that I'm a bit dissappointed by the TKS activity this season :/

BTW: how will you handle the playoffs brackets in div1?

If 8 qualify, it basically means every active team plays, which kinda ruins the point of playing a regular season to begin with from a competetive view. (Seedings could easily be done so it would be really close to what the final standing will become)

If 6 teams qualify, I guess it means 1st & 2nd goes directly to semis, while 3rd plays 6th and 4th plays 5th for the remaining semi final spots.

I also guess it's no point requesting WO vs Fairy Tail since their games probably gonna be removed anyway?

I really liked the 2 games vs each clan system this season as well. Less rape games, more games, tougher competition, and chance for rematch to prove your worth if you feel you didn't give it your best shot the first time around!

Pew pew hasn't played for 6 weeks and it seems like they won't play any more games. I'm not sure what's happening with psychosis. Sometimes they come into irc asking for EQL, but most often they don't even have any players in their irc channel. Because of this most clans probably won't play more than 9 games in div2.

I would happily do some adminning if wanted. I can't commit as much time as I used to with NQR but I'd be good for confirming some results and the like (and even supporting Zalon with the website occasionally).

#4 In div1 6 will qualify, there would be absolutely no idea in having "all teams" playing in playoffs. Could in that case make it a wb/lb-bracket thingie.

Yeah in a division of 9 teams you can't have more than 6 going to playoffs. Personaly I quite like 6 to playoffs in div1 anyway because you never have more than 6 clans with a chance of winning the title anyway and also it rewards the best two clans from the regular season by giving them a bye to the semis.

how does the bracket look like with 6 teams? 1-2 go to semi, 3v6 and 4v5 then winner in 3v6 vs 2 and winner of 4v5 vs 1 ?
