Yeah ggs, dm2 was so close, always came down to just one important frag...

I came in after 7 mins on dm3 for Defcon whose keyboard stopped... and then got 39 frags in one streak? crazy

Fun, tight games on all 3 maps - a very enjoyable evening.

DM3:
Our map. After about 40 seconds, I'd say we were in the driving seat and I was looking forward to a productive few minutes. However, we didn't reckon with MOFO's iron grip on RA, which they held for about 17 minutes. It was very impressive - I've not come up against a div3 team with that much discipline to just sit atop RA all game like that. As a result, we struggled to get enough kit to make a dent. We took some quads but didn't have the armour to make it count. They had some good fortune at the 2nd, 3rd and 4th pents, taking them by mere pixels from our guys, but they deserved the win. It was really close until about 5 minutes, when they opened out a lead and were about 70 ahead with 3 mins left when we finally took over RA and got some quads. MOFO went into hidey-mode super early for some reason!
I look forward to playing this map again in the playoffs - we already have some ideas on how to adapt our strategy, so it will be very interesting to see how that works out.

DM2:
Their map. We talked about key tactics before the game and largely were able to put them into place. We took more quads than them and that pretty much win it for us. We shaded control of tele/water and picked up some spawn frags, while they did a good job of always hassling around path/big. 52 RLs dropped by both teams. Only 80 can spawn in a whole game so that's quite a high turnover rate :D

E1M2:
I took first YA, Defcon took first RL and then brought it to me at GL. Thanks for that mate. I then didn't die for about 5 mins and had a nice 23-frag streak until dib axed me in the back at quad :D After that we had some great control of YA/GL without having many weapons and our teamplay in that area was the best it has been for a long time. Our lead disappeared when MOFO got some control of YA/quad but we always got it back. I think they caught us twice only for us to take control back. In the last 5 minutes or so, Manny decided to stop pissing about and showed them that E1M2 is his fucking patch, so back up bitchiz.
