Yea, Gaz was hot that night. Would have been much closer with Sniegowy, however, he was drunk. :D

And so on a cold March night, Osams did give a league debut to their Silent German Assassin II, aka Andy. This is the third clan I have played in with this great man and it is always an honour \o/

Anyway, the admins did a fast-approve for us so that we could answer ER's call for EQL, so we abandoned our homoerotic horseplay on Slide7 in favour of beating up some Poles. We all bundled into a server. Manny was a little worried (and have a little cry) that Stefan wasn't playing, but I soothed him by wiping his brow and saying "don't worry Mannydoks, it doesn't matter if we don't win every game as long as we make the playoffs". But then Sniegowy was too fucked out of his head to play, and it was all happy in Osams-land ;D

We picked DM3 as we played IHQ in a prac with this lineup a few days ago and it went well. One player from each team spawned at the lifts AND the YA, so we had the unusual situation of 4 guys running for pent. A Machinery guy won the dice roll and went on to take 2nd RL. Meanwhile, they also took 1st RL and looked to hold down RA. I took 3rd RL and snuck through pent to SNG, and with GL-Andy's help, invaded RA while the residents were taking a short vacation for 3rd quad. Manny & Pattah stole quad and knocked enough health off the enemy fuckers ((c) Mofo) that it was an easy job for Andy & me to kill them when they came back into the house and threw them the surprise party from hell. After that it was pretty smooth for us. Everything went right for me - the megahealth seemed to spawn under my feet at hill every time I was low on health, I never had to wait long for the RA, and when I had quad+kit, the Machinery guys ran gleefully towards me, eager to be smashed into little bits. It wasn't all "GazadokS" from my perspective though, and I got very lucky on one quad when I nearly bored into the quad ledge trying to shoot an enemy at hill. I don't know what happened around the rest of the map, but we held RA most of the time and pretty much every time I went to visit, I found Andy there with 0/30 and RL, standing at RA-mid with two black eyes, a bloody lip and a pronounced limp. Check the map stats mind - one of the M guys had 47% LG or something. Najs!

Someone once told me that Polish guys don't choose DM2 - it chooses them. I don't know if that's true or not, but I don't remember M stating their map choice - I just remember that one moment I was bounding happily through DM3's SNG room and the next I was spawning at DM2 tele. They got high RL+quad, pattah got low RL. I have no idea what happened exactly, but I died in the SG fight at tele from first spawns, respawned at low RL and went to secret, where I took the RA. Anyway, Machinery kicked up their heels and flashed their knickers at us for 5 minutes or so, building a small lead and making us think we might not win this one. They were awesome in fights around high RL, big and water, but I think they were a bit xanthophobic* or something because they never guarded tele very well. I don't remember how we took back control, because in contrast to my Fix-esque rampage on DM3, I was hurtling around DM2 like some kind of magical, pack-shitting headless chicken. I don't recall the exact figures, but my took/killed/dropped RL stats were something funny like 11/15/13. I think I got 75% of my frags in the last 5 minutes or so, when we made our advantage count. Manny & I shared some quads and all of us got enough frags to win the round. Our map control was very poor and we need more practice if we are to beat tougher DM2 teams like Mofo and In-A-Blazez.

My aim was pretty shocking these games, I hope I gave the specs something to watch when I fired 3 quad rockets at someone at low and missed all 3. However our tp was pretty tight, surprisingly for a team thats only played a couple of times before. Maybe we should bench Stefan more in future.

@Smoke: I'm sorry to hear that your player hasn't been added in a timely manner. I hope you didn't have to play any games without this addition yet. I think my colleagues requested my addition to the roaster 2 days ago with the admin team and Gaz put some pressure on one of them yesterday before the game to get this bureaucratic act passed through.

Regarding this game, I must say it felt really good to play again - however as far as team messages, firing guns AND listening to some idiots on mumble is concerned, it's tough (multitasking is difficult enough ;) for me.
Dm3 wasn't easy at all for me, actually I don't think I had a RL during the last 7-8 minutes for more than a few seconds.
Dm2 was a rough start and I'd say it took us about 6-7 minutes before it started looking as if we actually had a real chance there. M gave us a tough fight, at least for me, for most of the time on dm2.

Thanks for the game guys, an enjoyable pleasure as I remember qw!

@gaz: I feel honoured, too, and I have to say this team has the gayest team colours I've experienced so far, so we're making progress ;)
