The activity point works perfectly as long as wo's equals 3 points for the team that gets default win, and 0 points for the team that leaves wo.
There's no flaw or problem with it.

What's this new trend of clans applying to div3 instead of div2 is it because that they think just because they choose div3. Admins wont move them up to div1 as they might have done if they picked div2. ( I am not talking about fOm, because they obviously did it as a joke, maybe even as a parody on this behaviour)

Requesting a certain division doesnt really matter unless a would-be-top-div2 team applies for div1. Same goes for a would-be-top-div3 team applying for div2. In these cases we review their chances of making some good results in the higher division and place them there if we think it would be useful for their development and meaningful for most of the other clans in said division to play vs them.

It is more like guidelines if the admins dont know that much about the clans. But as it is now we pretty much know all the players and will try to place the clans according to their best possible lineup instead of looking too much at their requested division.

Also, it can hardly be a trend if only 1-2 teams out of 20+ teams do it. :)

I think admins know us thoroughly now that we have been with same lineup with last 2 previous seasons. :)

We all have a very good guess where we are going to be in this season no matter what a request division is . :)

I think placing teams after their best possible line-up is the way to go. First of all, it gives teams guidelines as to what to expect. Second of all, perhaps they think twice before adding a div0-player who claims to be inactive or similar jazz. Third of all, having it any other way creates alot of extra work and grief because of confusion.

I think people have an easier time accepting firm guidelines for the benefit of all, than from case to case ruling. If you know what to expect, it's alot easier to accept. My two cents.

IMO there shouldn't be a div3 this season (unless some teams join before the deadline hits) anyway. Currently, 24 teams have signed up. 12 teams separated in 2 Divs, in which top 4 or top 6 (in the latter case div winner and runner-up get a free ticket in first playoff round) make playoffs. Please no 12 team division with 1-2 teams being totalliy inactive and 8 teams making playoffs - that totally reduces the importance and quality of pre-season games.

Or:

3 divs with 8 teams in each one. Each team plays another TWICE. Top 4 teams make the playoffs.
And change the points system to avoid SR2 constroversy please.

The setup in div1 last season worked quite nice imo. But I can imagine the teams that are forced to divison1 that didn't sign up for it would hate that idea. Nice to see DC signed up for div1 this year as well, as they did a lot of improvement last season. This time around teams seems to be even more polarized, but lets see how they roll :-)

It's a shame div1 players like hlt (and the rest of cmf ofc), chris, slabi, votary and od are nowhere to be seen. Same with Ihmi & blaze, but I guess that was slightly more expected this season.

I'm pretty sure any combination of those players could be a threat to any top teams this season.

And ofc: wtf is up with none of the seasoned russians playing? (xn, xpr, gor, bulat(!), etc)

And what happened really with the planned Firing Squad comeback, and cmf? Really?

The players and clans mentioned by Rikoll should really get their shit together and play this season :)

(its tb3 and all so it should be suitable even for semi-retired players to comebackinen too)

There was no SR2 "controversy" last season, fairy tale only played 4 games, removing them and the games they played was the only reasonable choice, how the hell can you not see this.

Well I remember now, there was a lengthy discussion about making 2-0 wins worth more than 2-1 wins. like 4p and 3p respectively.
Well it would make sense tbh.

I have been unable to fix the lag with my computer. I cannot remember last timed I even played a game of qw tbh.

I would rather just sit back and watch Fom vs SR a few times instead of putting in loads of practice to get nowhere. Played the game long enough and now find it a little boring with not many teams around.
