well i know tvs/fusion was split up solely to make FOM, but fact still is that tvs did break up, and you took best players from fusion so they were left with all the backup players and couldnt really continue and you took 5 top players from the scene in a team. so that's facts that 2 div0 teams are gone, and one new is here. And when you look at all the div1 players without teams, who either stopped playing, or joined div1, its obvious to me the players from fusion/tvs could have made 3-4 really good competetive div1 teams, that could compete with sr as well.

And sure you don't wanna respond to the fact that you took 12 points after season ended on walkovers, while no other team did it. Or that admins didn't talk to any other team about this before making their decisions to give you wo's. Cause that would just make you look a bit lame, eventhough you were just "following the rules".

First of all, SR didnt get punished in any way. They didn't claim wo's (for reasons discussed and/or unknown) and therefore didnt got any approved. Simple as that.

Second, we have spammed/asked for games a lot. Probably about the same amount as SR have in general. The resulting activity has however been a very different thing for us compared to SR, since teams actually need to accept and play us as well (which hasn't happen). If you wouldn't approve wo:s for a team that constantly asks for games ~90% of the season (including catchup week), I would really like to hear your reasoning.

Then whether or not the first place is "deserved" is highly subjective. To argue that we shouldn't get wo's from atleast tks and c88 however, is completely unfounded.

To be fair, admins didn't come to us at all. Teams report their own walkovers to admins, that's how it's always been. They don't have to talk to you, or sd, because we didn't request a single walkover from you. Why would they have to talk to anyone else about it? That's not how it's been before, you present your own facts and evidence and the admins then make a decision based on what you present to them. They don't have to ask you if we request a walkover from TKS. Things like this isn't exactly new, I've got robbed plenty in the same way before, who cares? I make the assumption that active teams will request walkovers from inactive teams they never got the chance to play. Atleast if the teams behind are in a range to catch up to other teams, they will request those walkovers from missing games. Do some research next time and you wont have to feel robbed after everything is decided

I think the admins deserve respect for just putting their free time into running these leagues, even if this season wasn't perfect I don't think the admins deserve any of what they've had to put up with really. Some players here should really get a reality check.

Hell, the general oppinion of us is that we are inactive and can't be seen playing at all, why not get a few free points from us in the meanwhile? We made our own decision to get WOs from the teams that we never got ahold of at all during the whole season and that didn't try in the slightest to play us. I know SD and SR are active and they deserve credit for it, but we've really wanted to play all of our games as well, some teams made that impossible.

The largest problem in div1 is you mostly have players with twisted and rotten attitude towards qw.
If you are good enough they boycott you.
If you ask prac too often they ban you from their channels.
They rather get WO from eql final than wait 1-2weeks their opponent coming back from their holiday trips so that they had 4 ppl.
Their opinions change in every league... whatever fits the best for the time being.
Now Rikoll is only playing by the rules but in eql 12 he refused to ping up even the admin said to him that rules stated he should :)
When for example tVS (and two of their new teammembers) played by the rules it was called "twisting the rules".
They cry and whine and lie here at eql forums and try to claim some public acceptance.

Teams were busy spending their time whining about who should get a walkover, and there was simply not enough time to play the actual games. Since then every single game has been played and everybody lived happily ever after. It's about time we force this rule in quakeworld as well.
