Week 10: 2006-11-20 - 2006-11-26.
Here is a preliminary playoff schedule for the Semifinals:

Playoff Division 1
koff vs Suddendeath
Slackers vs Firing Squad

Playoff Division 2
Team Freedom vs El?intarha
Loser Squadron vs USSR

Playoff Division 3
hippushnik vs JUGS
Easy To Kill vs Rebellion of Thunder

Playoff Division 4
ChoseN vs Suddendeath.Project
Morituri vs Dies Ater

Playoff Division 5
The Pimps vs Clan Cube Squad
Def2 vs Shadow Death

Playoff Division 6
cool clan vs RAW
sadtroops vs Enemy Quad

Late WO:s etc might change this but it is not likely so go ahead and schedule your semifinals and put the date on the Quakeworld Schedule.

A reminder of our rules:
Top4 in each division goes to playoff with best of 5 games directly in the semis!
#1 vs #4 and #2 vs #3!

Regarding divisions with 5 maps: First there will be 5 maps to pick from even in the playoff or qualification matches. ...and no map can be played twice.

Regarding playoff with with best of 5 (tb3) maps: Play first three maps like normal, ie all tb3. The 4th and 5th maps will be the same as the teams first picked and the team that is down by one map will play theire map first. ie the 3rd map may not be played twiced and no map can be played 3 times.

as we seen before its the playoffs that counts and free r not that good look what happend when they play against solid teamplay and much love osams. if the other teams wanna win against div5players like free and one div1 use teamplay ffs

i think its ok to have the div0 teams in div1, a good thing though is if there would be more teams in div1 to make it more interesting, so the div2 teams like freedom,vets,dr so on still have more than like 2 games a season where they'll have a chance to take a point :) then i'll guess its ok to get raped by div0

well just make one ladder so everyone can play against who they want divs kinda sux cuz quakeworld is the most inactive scene in the whole world of online gaming so u never now whats teams will be prac alot and so on. But if u want divs make them bigger like 3 instead of 6 cuz there is not big diff between lot of the clans.. and div0 died when ff stoped playing

honestly i dont think div0 is that much ahead of the rest of div1, but small differences in games can make a rape still.
And it doesnt have to be that superhard
to catch up either, but people just whine instead of trying. If you play the best one over and over again you finally reach to their level

with enough effort i think the div1 clans can surely progress to the div0 clans.

i dont know why you are complaining now.it was always like that in div1.top clans raped mid/low div1 clans.its just a bit more obvious this season cause we have only 3(?) topclans.
lets just hope that will change next season.i think with a comeback of either fom or tvs and a better prepared la and cmf div1 will be more interesting again.
and i have to fully agree with m0lle although i dont know if hes beeing ironic there (you never on the inet :>).even if you get raped a whole season...the few times you steal a map or play a tight game vs. the topclans will give you a real boost and i think thats what matters.
atleast it was like that for me when i played in hyphen.we lost most games but then we won 1 game against slackers and this felt like the best moment in qw ever for me ;>.

rapes happens from time to time. it's a part of qw. Some time it's a question of skill, sometimes it's a fullstart for opponent and somtimes it's just a bad day.

koff, sr, and fs sure are hard to beat. but i've seen them losing games, plus it's just a 3 clans - in each div there are ~3 clans out of reach for rest of the div.

i think its okey so, because sr or koff wanna play more than 4 games.
I remember that Veterans and some other clans asked if they could play in div1, because they were in dv2.
Now u whine that u have no chance in div1....
Its not like in div5 that you can say "ah he is too good he must play in div4".
Div1 is the best of the best and when you have no chance there, you are not one of the best.
