This is a summary of yesterday nights bigscreen commentary @ molecules own tacobar: ggs, nice played slackerinen. expected more out of koff here, but the very strategic mapchoice from SR broke the nerves. first dm2 as the icebreaker - koff were too nervous to win the map as they normally would've (SR-strat #1). secondly e1m2 coz this is koff's weakest map, so the gap 0-2 would be stressing (SR-strat #2). dm3 - whatta thriller! ppl just couldn't sit down in our specroom, intensive! Congrats sr!

i think you are a bit overrating insane's performance. true he played well, but i dont think it would have been a bigger rape, had he been playing with 52ms...

well, he had not just 70ping, but he had constant lags & pl. i say this is quite annoying. he could easily get at least +5-7% efficiency on each map, me thinks.

Insane, eventhough a great and experienced player, has the added bonus of the really solid teamplay and support that the current Slackers crew seems to be really good at. With a less supportive team, I think Insane would not be able to do as well with such bad ping conditions :(

i dont think "pingwhiners" think that a 12ms noname player could beat like a 150ms griffin? => everyone knows its not the ping that makes someone a skilled player lol...

ofc ping doesn't make the player, but it is such a big difference between 50 and 12 you can't think straight for the first minutes.
