We have started to make the divisions and could use feedback on some teams. At the moment we have too few newbie teams to make a 6th division. All divisions are a bit preliminary since teams still can add players to their rosters. If any division gets larger than 16 teams then we will split it.

Spare us the "WTF is team A doing in div X" comments, constructive criticism please. And try to write one post with all your ideas.

We are mostly interested in where to place all the new teams who did not participate in EQL3. The EQL3 teams will be placed according to their results in the EQL3 regular season if they have roughly the same lineup.

Regarding Div1 we have preliminary chosen to put both Vets and SSC there in order to get more than 8 teams. We are a bit afraid of closing Div1 and although neither Vets nor SSC are too eager to play there we feel that if we don't force top Div2 teams to play in Div1 next season then we will end up with a watered-down Div1 quite soon.

Team Freedom have got a wildcard to Div2 due to Valla. dQM will be placed in Div3 (in EQL3 dQM* was Div2 and dQM was Div4, with only two members left from the Div2 team we feel that Div3 is correct). TOC have recruited 3 former TG members and will get a wildcard to Div4 due to this. NO! have added quake (unknown) to their roster and will get a wildcard to Div3. Cmt have lost mega to inactivity so they will get a wilcard back to Div3 (they will not be allowed to add him later).

Hello. I'm from sTa and I would kindly ask you to place us into div4. We have pracced vs a few clans listed in div4 (csn,oo,sd.p) and I believe it would be the best suitable division for us.

I would like TC to go in div2 because i think we are up for the challenge, we are boarderline though as only a certain lineup of ours imo is div2.. looking at the current teams in div3 / 2 we have pracced more against the div2 teams and we have done well against them... so my vote is for div2 but i wouldnt mind playing in either div! we all appreciate the work you lot put into a leauge like this btw!

some random thoughts on some clans:

TC -> div2
SM -> div3 (i dont see mm playing much these days)
cmt -> div3
rot -> div2 (pericles, latency and splif certainly warrent that)
DA -> div3 (even though they finished poorly last season, skill for div3 is there)
DR -> div1 (they seem to want div1)
Vets -> div2
ccs -> div4
USSR, UQE -> div2
sadtroops, respawn addicts, kindergarten -> div5

To me Div4 looks fine. Dont know about DA tho. But let them come down to us Div4'lers. If they rape all of us, we send them back to Div3-land next season. =)

We won't ignore the EQL3 results completely like some of you suggest. We have several good reasons to keep the qualifying (and relegation) rules. If were going to give dies ater or baconmen wildcards then we feel that we have to motivate it with playeradditions/losses in their rosters, if this is the case then inform us please.

UQE to div 2 is rather pointless, SM totally creamed us in a prac on dm3 and we haven't played any prac at all besides that one. We just want to have fun! Either div 3 or 4 would do for us I guess.

Yes, put all the teams which have @ least one div1 player from div2 to div3 so teams like us(-fu-) and DQM will get raped with our real div3 lineups

1. freedom with valla is like ssc with milton, very similiar case, i'd put them in div1 if ssc is there, especially as they both seem to be better than vets who are also in div1 now (i mean vets without mille who is in sd or dr), that will make some room in div2 for other teams, and i think more top div2 teams in new div1 will be more fun for them, maybe they cant take down div0 teams but they can fight for mid div1 place :)

and one more thing, please change the minping rule, current rule is somewhat retarded, if you can't think of a better rule just look at nqr's one and compare it... it's much more fair than eql's... plz

Jenna quit whining, you have div1 Mega and you are div2 if compared to present div3 clans. Clans with these div1 additions shouldn't be placed to lower than div2 because there are teams in div3 with real div3 lineups and thus the skill difference between you and "real" div3 clans is too wide. We have seen it in pracs that Mega can take whole -fu- down by himself. Well, that might be overreacting but he can surely turn the whole game for you by himself. Send mega aka j?ttekuk-Juho back to AQ and come to play with us in div3.

we have made a ranking containing all teams, but since we're not yet sure about it for 100% it didnt go public, so hold still.

We know some teams are a bit upset with the division they are placed - we have it mind.

we do our best to avoid situations where teams could rape all others or get raped by all others, thus if you find your team missplaced or you cant see your team placed at all feel free to post a message here with suggestions.

I'll reapet what Term allready said here thou':
EQL3 standings are makeing the basis for seeding clans in EQL4
if team ended on promotion spot it gets through to higher div automatically.
Same goes for relegation spots.

We can however make exceptions here (ie: we wont put FS in div2) , but that is the case where the team would rape all others or get raped by all others - it's not enough if a clan just thinks it would end last - someone has to end last

valla didn't play those games, except for the last dm2 maybeh, but there are only few notdiv1 teams who can beat us on dm2 anyway, i think freedom is as good with valla as ssc with milton (@dm3 even better), so if they play in div1 you shall too... really, no one rapes us 300:50 @dm3, not even sd nor vets nor ssc who all are in div1 heh :)

dm3 is our strongest map, we arent nearly as strong on either dm2 or e1m2 and we have no interest what so ever in playing in div1 this season since we feel that we aren't good enough yet. we will play div2 and if we happen to finnish in the top2 we will gladly play in div1 next season. but for now div2 will fit us just fine. enough said.
