i'm both 'very' sad and happy

sad cause we'll miss fascinating div3 vs div4 final in division 2 (ls without tco vs free without valla)

happy cause the fate once more has shown it's not always better to wangle, if free eliminated zoo 2 days ago when they had chance maybe they would be in final now instead of them, jeer@free for that

anyway there are at least four possibilities:
1) zoo are really that good,
2) freedom disregarded zoo after winning dm3 and e1m2 in the game 2 days ago,
3) freedom is currently really so weak, especially in that lineup,
4) another game was sold out cause as many freedom members have claimed for last 2 days - they don't care about the playoffs.

i _want_ to believe it was 1) plus maybe some of 2/3) and i don't want to believe it might be 4) so i congratulate zoo and gl in final.

Anyway, Zoo deserved the victory as superstar flintheart decided to traitor this game instead sweep had to jump in and he hadnt played for ages + I dont think he understood a single word on the ventrilo channel either, not that there was anything said that was important, 2 hours of constant whining and yelling is gr8.

But in the long run it was fun doing business with Zoo, A++ customer etc...

First of all I would like to thank the zoo.boys for playing the best flooding tp I've seen from them. Ofcourse our main target was Valla (soz martin :/) and we managed to off him enough it seems.

Thanks to Free for no whines and great games :)

And just as a really really small sidenote, I would like to remind doubters that this time Free got the fullstart on dm2 unlike sunday :/

Seems like our rules regarding playoff/qualification where not updated since EQL2 :(. Since EQL3 we have separated playoff & qualification from eachother. Tnx znappe who informed me about this and sorry for having such a shitty rulepage :/. I hope the following ruletext puts some light on the green, blue and red lines in the standings.

Qualifying/relegation
Bottom2 teams in the regular season will automaticly be moved down one division the following EQL. Top2 teams in the regular season will be moved up one division.

Playoff
Top4 in each division goes to playoff with best of 5 games directly in the semis!
#1 vs #4 and #2 vs #3!

To motivate this I think we said that all 9-10 matches in the regular season better shows what teams that should qualify then the a single semifinalmatch. And that if top2 means something then that might be good for the activity.

Well even though I might agree to some extent with znappe's and Term's sentiments concerning who should go to the higher div, I must point out two things:

- If you read the rules page like 7 hours ago it gave a different take on the situation and we were already in our minds going to div1 when talking about it in our private channel last night after the semi's.

- Changing the rules page after the playoffs have begun and a game has been played sounds really fishy to me.

Yesterday, at least at 21.30CET it said:

"The top4 teams will replay their matches in a qualifying group and the two best teams in it will be moved up one division."

Here "in it" refers explicitly to the qualifying group. The problem here is that you have said "the two best teams in it". Since the qualifying group is a separate instance and no more tied to the regular season, I would have to conclude that it means the two best teams in that qf group, once they have played their games.

I just woke up so all I can really say is that this needs to be discussed / settled. Changing the rules page like that simply will not do.

#27 That was indeed the correct in EQL2, in EQL3 we started to move top2 from the regular season. I'm quite sure this was mentioned in a newspost but the rules where never updated and have no excuse for this.

I don't think EQL crew will stop someone from going to higher div cus they finished 3rd or 4th and if i am wrong then its a bad idea since we have so much less clans that want to go higher.And for eg.
in div3 imo all four playoff teams should be moved to div2 for EQL5 :) this would make divs stronger and leting teams like rot and jugs stay in div3 you dont have to be nostradamus to say they will be out of reach again for other clans.
Let's make div3 and lower more friendly and leave div1&2 for hardcore players ;)

I knew i forgot something ;) wouldn't be cool to place 5 teams from div2 to div1 so the bottom teams in div1 can have some equal fights ? more games and replace them with teams from div3.There is nothing to whine about being in div1 my clan 3tk was there in eql2 we were beat hard in every game and we actually wanted to stay for next season but sassa didnt let us and motivation for being div0 one day was gone :D It's prestige to be there like weaker teams in Champions league doesn't whine they have to face Chelsea or Barcelona etc :)

jesus christ dudes, its so hilarious reading about all those conspiracy theories, its QW...a 10-year-old game and we play it for fun! And yeah well i'm rusty as hell, the first real 4on4 i've played in....more than 6 months, plus i got my "wisdom tooth?" operated out yesterday, so i was bleeding like hell during the game :) So there are plenty of reasons for us loosing that game, wake up fuckheads :)
