Clan placement is NOT yet final!

Regarding the new rules:

First time a clan uses wrong client/ruleset/settings will lead to: 1 point deducted and warning to player.

The 2nd time a clan uses wrong client/ruleset/settings in a game: the player will get kicked out and WO will be given to the other team.

Im not sure as ive been inactive for a while, but Hippushnik in div1? Sure if they agree im fine with it, but I tend to think the gap between them and tvs/druidz is kinda huge.

And for example teams like suddendeath/oblivion are better, but ofcourse I could be mistaken!:)

Besides that I like the big divisions and I really hope they will pay off.

I like the idea of bigger divisions. More activity, more games and certainly more drama :)

Well, I'd see the divisions as a way to ensure that most of the games are reasonable. Of course there is going to be a big difference between top teams and bottom teams in a division, but I think most of the games won't be unreasonable for Hips. Having to play tougher opponents occasionally is just part of the game imho.

Not sure all of my mates will be happy about being div1 since we lost pretty much all our recent prac games vs Fusion/Quakeklan/etc, but on the other hand I think we might do too well in in div2, so I guess it was a close call to make.

Anywho: I do definitely agree with Kwibus though. I think there are better clans in div2 than Hippushnik. Antiquad for example, but since they never play any of their games anyway I guess swapping them would just bring higher inactivity to div1.

And I don't see ok98 in Suddendeath's lineup. (?????????????????????) :'(

Just a few initial thoughts:

Merging div1 and 2 is practically impossible, even though it might work a little better this time since there are few true div0 clans.

However, making div1 slightly smaller, adding a div4 and making changes accordingly in div2 and 3 might be worth considering.. Div3 right now is huge. 16 games per clan (assuming every clan is active) is quite a lot to ask for even with extended seasons. You'd still end up with fewer and bigger divisions than normal, but they would be slightly more balanced.

djevulsk: Your idéa is worth considering, it looks good in theory. On the other hand, there are several teams in div3 who don't yet have 4 players signed, and some of the teams are known to get inactive after a couple of weeks. So if 5 teams "drop" out after lets say 2 weeks, and we had split the division, we are back to the old smaller divisions. There might be so that a couple of clans will be moved to division 2 from division 3.

Soma: Regarding DA you're completely right, really tough to place. And you're also right regarding AQ. As Blaze said, there will be bigger difference in skill between top and bottom teams when divisions are bigger.

Kwibus/Soma: It's only Votary/Overd from the old SD that plays this season. If you check their lineup you will understand why they didn't end up in gold :).

And as stated earlier, placement or divisons at all are not yet final, there will most certainly be changes made.
