Yep, congrats... better team won and you deserved this victory.

Seems that some higher power just didn't want us to win this tournament. So much problems for finals (Blaze's computer, Xantom isp fucked up and dates did not match with inside tvs or with sd).

This was the last date we were able to play before autumn and there were a lot of inside talks that we should just give wo. But some of us thought that even with Xantom's pl we still have like a 10% change to win so that's better than wo. Well you can be smart ass afterwards but at least we got glorious defeat instead of walking away...

So sad to see this kind of finals. Few last eql finals has been like div2 skill level, rusty players and postpone after postpone. And this game tvs not fielding their best lineup and xantom with that high pl. I guess it's has been just a matter of time with steady decline of players and/or intrest. Taking nothing away from sd but they would not have a chance with 100% tvs. Grats anyway :)

Nah, not negative, just stating the facts as I see them. Or are you saying that last eql finals has been the best ones? If so, good for you. I've seen best 2 clans getting only few pracs or even that, then playing final with handicaps like this, kind of like "lets get it out of the way". My situation has nothing to do with state of this particular game so I don't know why you would bring that up.

blaze already had bsod in game vs atg and had cpu problems since that and have been without cpu these last weeks and xantom has had this continous 20-40 pl for at least 2weeks now. Its not sd's fault and if we have had a choise to play with better conditions it would have been nice bu we didnt :) SD played really well and managed to do what others havent in many years! Wp and grats for winning. I can be happy of their victory also even if its always better to win :)

I think they all played really well under the circumstances. Last two maps were nerve wrecking. Cant really see how it could be alot more exciting than that.

Really hard to compare EQL finals and say which one was the best :P. How would you even go about to do that? In the end you will have some really subjective result that wont matter to anyone else.

Imo it was nice that the final indeed was played and kudos to tVS for playing, and like everyone else i hope the loss fuels them for next season. :)

I think activity breeds more activity, so it is important to get shit played and tournaments completed even if there aren't optimal conditions for everyone and his grandmother...

Well Zero is right... and even before the season it was expected that the quality will be bad or at least not as good as before. But it's natural for old game like this with tiny scene and people getting old. Of course it helps a lot if you play any 3d shooting game, but I think these guys doesn't play...

As I and maybe all of us said in the interview that the form depends how active scene will be. It was dead, I played one practice round. What you need to be in good form, high quality matches where one mistake can cost much.

I don't know how others played, cause haven't watched the demos but cause of delay and lack of playing last weeks my personal level was one of the weakest in this tourney. Well someone could say that, then it must be really bad but ye ;)

Final words: Let's not expect that everyone will keep their high quality form up years. After all, this group is nowadays the majority. People should just be positive that these games are still played. Otherwise we can just pack our backs and power off the servers. QW's gold time are gone long time a go and it's not coming back :)

Congrats SD. A well-deserved victory and a great final. Respect to TVS for playing under these tough conditions. But no-one wants to repeat SD2. TVS were worthy winners in the past and are now a worthy second.

As I only spectate qw these days I appreciate that the top-games are played. They are for me what a champions league football game is to most people into that. TVS did some mistakes in the games, not only xantom and that cost them the victory. SD with Ganon is stronger than before IMO and can take TVS down even under fair conditions. Hopefully SR will be back and it would be nice to see real CMF and FS back next season. Over and out, thanks for keeping it alive
