I don't see how its fair that some teams get points for playing a team that over and over again disagreed to play some of the other teams. After EWMC vs Slackers game EWMC stated pretty clearly that EQL is done for them, and they won't be playing anymore games. So please quit being retarded and remove the activity points as well, and make it fair for everyone. Thank you.

Clear rules how TED? IF we had a fixed set of rules on this, QK would have been deleted by week 4... EG 0 games played.

Only way to avoid these kind of last day WO's is to enforce the schedule.

Nice joke. You remove the clan but 5 clans still get 1 point for a game that's invalid? So because 5 clans had the chance to play them early in the season makes it fair for the other teams? Either remove it completly or dont, this is just bullshit. After 12 EQL's you still dont have any clear rules.

How do you explain handing out activitypoints for games that have been deleted?

What is the point in deleting games at all in that case since someone obivously gained something from them on the cost of the teams that didn´t get to play the inactive clan.

You should either keep the games and hand out WO:s or just erase them and thats it, this feels questionable to say the least.

don't really see the problem with div1.
top8 won't change if you give wo to all who haven't played vs ewmc, or if you remove the games ewmc have played.
top8 will still be:

1. SR
2. tVS
3. Fusion
4. SD
5. Sauna
6. QK
7. tks
8. cccp

It's only if you decide to do something weird like giving the removing ewmc games but giving the teams that played ewmc 1 activity point.
In which case top8 would look like this instead:

1. SR

4. SD
5. Sauna
6. tks
7. QK
8. cccp

tbh looks quite clearcut to me, I'm more interested in how div2 wo's will be handed out since only 3 clans have played all their games, and four clans with 2 games unplayed. Tough cookie for admins :D

problem is that the WO question need to be sorted anyways to actually decide places 1-4 and decide who gets into playoff, like cccp for example.

When they only played 5 games it's pretty clear we(qk) are not the only team that hasn't played them. Regarding WO's I think you got a point in general. When a team drops out I can't see any other solution than to remove their involvement.

I see it as a totally different story if they would still have been active and hadn't been able to play us these last 2 weeks, but have been asking the first 6. Then the decision is obvious for me atleast in their favour. Now there just weren't no way at all to play the game since they quit. How's that for disadvantage?

Just for the record, I'm _not_ involved in the decision making about EWM and how it's handled.

Hooraytio, the point I was making in terms of it not affecting our position is that I do not consider the current table to be a true reflection of the standings.

My assumption was that WOs would be granted against all clans that haven't played EWMC, in which case we would place 7th.

My alternate suggestion (removing all clans with less than 50% games played) would have the same result from our perspective - 7th place for TKS. The reason I mentioned this was to avoid any accusations of bias that might arise from the fact that TKS registered a map loss against EWMC due to actively trying to get our games played throughout the season and most over clans get to take the ez 2-0 Walkover (not suggesting other clans didn't try to play but it seems a bit unfair to put teams at a disadvantage for actually getting games played against the less active clans).

I guess the only question some might have on this is as to whether a clan like QK that started playing EQL games extremely late in the season has the right claim WO over a clan that had asking on irc bot for EQL games earlier in the season. Some might argue that for clans to claim walkovers they should have at least tried to play games back in September/October.

Rest assured that we will do something about EWMC, thats not the issue. The question is exactly what will we do about them. I can tell you that we will not let those 5 games stand while doing nothing about the unplayed games, thats for sure.

Just come back at sunday, check out the table and the quarter final fixtures, nod your head and go scheduele the game. It is not the end of the world if you didnt get the opponent you wanted. No matter what place your team ended up in you earned it. Blame the clans that didnt play their games if you want to blame someone. Just do your best and come back next season.

EWMC' have been too inactive compared to the rest of the div1 teams that have played games, so I also think to most fair solution is to remove them and the games they've played. Should also be the easiest solution to the admins.

Either that or give WO to the rest of the teams that haven't played them yet is the only solutions to get a fair table.

Unless he is already assuming they will be 6th instead of current 5th.

I mean, at least Sauna will pass TKS in every solution above except when we do nothing.

I think everyone was assuming you weren't going to do nothing, hence it not affecting the league standings as long as you don't do something insane with the walkovers or cancelling.

TKS will only keep their position if we do nothing. Otherwise:

Give Sauna wo and they will pass TKS.
Give QK wo too and they will also pass TKS.
Cancel all EWMC games and both Sauna and QK will pass TKS.
Cancel EWMC games but let their 5 opponents keep their activity point and Sauna will pass TKS. QK will not pass TKS.

Canceling EWMC games will also give CCCP a playoff spot instead of CN.
Giving CCCP wo vs EWMC will also get them passed CN.

I think this is correct but cba to double check, please comment on any mistakes.

It doesn't affect their position assuming that all remaining ewmc games are handed out as walkovers (which they should be if they are not removed, since they have gone inactive and are refusing to play anyone).

In other news, all the other division 1 clans this season have done a fantastic job playing their games this season. Only koff/tvs remains unplayed from the games of all 12 active clans. It's the most active division 1 season in many years so far!

How wont that affect your position?

IMO if a clan has played less than half their games they should be removed - please note this won't actually affect our final position in the table.

Almost the same thing in div1 too. Remove ewmc and then there is only one unplayed game (tvs-lastentarha).
