sr won by kenya vs SD, and lost by kenya vs tvs.. Kenya rulez...:( It was a great season, would be much better without kenya, but yet i still enjoyed it a lot ggs

Haha trashtalkar och trashtalkar =) Det enda du visat innan matchen var att du var rostig och inte upp till samma standard som förra gången du var aktiv. Det var allt jag sa, men det verkade ju som du fick igång formen precis i tid för finalen =)

Very nice games. Congratulations! Also nice commentary by Jehar and ddk (even tho ddk was able to produce the longest English sentences I ever heard, lol).

On the other hand it's a bit weird that the scores are not tight at all. It's weird that a game can end with so distanced scores when clans that are clearly very close skill-wise are playing, and not even for the first time. And clearly "kenya" is not to blame here as dm3 ended with the largest margin.
#13 Stefan - 2010-12-12 11:46 (85.225.175.XXX)
Jehar sög röv. Plz next time; use a commentator who can actually play qw. DDK ftw tho. *kramizar*
#14 nasander - 2010-12-12 12:25 (88.195.105.XXX)
WHAT happened here? dm3 total rape(didnt help SR when karl gave rl to MIlton right in the beginning ;), dm2 suprisingly to SR and well kenyas.... tVS obviously used kenya maps to their adtantage but still i was hoping to see a more stronger SR in this final. SR too comfortable with the two wins over tVS during this season? Maybe SR wiill be able to use Striker more next season if its only TB3 maps. GGS!
#15 murdoc - 2010-12-12 12:36 (62.194.153.XXX)
We played our best game of the season at the QHLAN final when it was most important :) after that we went down hill.... we've been losing whole last week to fusion (witout martin) so we kinda expected this outcome.

Last season we played worse true season but played a better final. Its just a matter of how you feel that day, you have ups and downs.... this day tvs had there up and sr had his down day.

ggs and cu next season!
#16 blAze - 2010-12-12 12:41 (94.237.84.XXX)
I think the scores can be explained a bit by the fact that on the last week we were able to finally get good solid pracs three days in a row with our final lineup. That helped a lot in getting rid of the rust in our tp that had been slowing us down in the previous games. I think we were able to put one of our best performances in a while to this final game and ofc it's great to peak when it counts.

It was ggs and don't forget the bronze game tonight. Should be a good game too!
#17 saaaad pan - 2010-12-12 15:50 (91.150.223.XXX)
hi bonkers! what time does bronze game start today ?
#18 HangTime - 2010-12-12 16:20 (84.45.212.XXX)
This win tells us nothing about whether tVS are any good, I mean just look at this:

"Boomsticker awards goes to [tvs][tVS]blAze for 41.8 shotgun percentage"

To quote blAze (26/11/2010): "The fact that you get boomsticker award with 40% [it was actually 41.2%] only tells about the level of the game. ;P"

Looking forward to Bronze game, hopefully we'll see some clans that can actually aim.
#19 blAze - 2010-12-12 16:39 (94.237.84.XXX)
Yeah HT, my boomstick aim sucked this time. :( Nerves? :O
#20 vodka - 2010-12-12 17:21 (82.69.73.XXX)
I personally thought dm3 was some of the best match teamplay (tVS pov) I've seen in years. I know some disagree, but hey.
#21 bgvtn - 2010-12-12 17:40 (84.236.51.XXX)
"Boomsticker awards goes to [tvs][tVS]blAze for 41.8 shotgun percentage"=big map(cmt1b)+antilag+high pinged enemy(zero) it is not that big surprise to me.
#22 fnosk - 2010-12-12 18:09 (87.227.97.XXX)
Still waiting for demos/VODs with commentary...
#23 pektopah - 2010-12-12 18:28 (82.181.203.XXX)
You need to do some really fucked up div0 shit to win Tvs, as we saw Striker and Murdoc do in that Dm2. It was, at least in my eyes, those 2 performances around 10 minutes that turned the map to SRs favor. SR lacked personal over-achievementing, Zero did a good job, and I suppose he would've leaded SR to victory over any other clan than TVS (and perhaps F). ParadokS is known to be a man of Big Games but this time he didn't fill his role, I even got wondering if it was really Para playing? Milton is atm the most praised player in the scene, and I'd prefer to see 4on4 more as a teamplay thing, but lets be honest here: 42 frags in a row in EQL finals on dm3? WTF? En_Karl just didn't have enough experience to not let Milton win the whole map. If U combine that with excellent performances by Ihminen, who just refuses to die time after time, blAze with a killer shaft and Xantom, who would be THE starplayer in any other clan and seems to be perfect match for Milton, it's easy to see why Tvs won so easily. Actually I should really watch more Xantoms pov and see why they combine so perfectly. Milton playes like a robot-robocob-terminator and when ever he's not around Xantom comes and you think "Oh yeah, this Xantom dude is actually fuckin great!".

Anyway, thanks for the season and my apologies to anybody who expected me to do commentary: semis and finals got me by suprise and everytime I came home just when they started. Next time mayby, and I hope JOGI (spam him) gets his SPECTATOR-CAM-CLIENT ready!

GZ TVS!

Dont go away

CMF - COME BACK PLZ
#24 deus - 2010-12-13 00:42 (92.224.129.XXX)
amen brotha.
#25 Hagge - 2010-12-13 16:16 (212.221.52.XXX)
Pektopah 8) tVS sure played a really solid game. I definately think they stepped their game up one level compared to the QHLAN final, while SR stepped two levels down.

Paradoks was as stated earlier a disappointment, and same thing with zero. Murdoc did some nice damage at times (especially on dm2), but in the QHLAN final he was much more consistent.

Now I just wonder what will happen before next season. Tb3 sure will be hot and I hope no top clans will drop out so we can get some more of that hot action we crave! o/
#26 kapo - 2010-12-15 13:52 (217.152.218.XXX)
Zero was not high enough :( Nerves??
#27 XantoM - 2010-12-15 20:46 (213.114.77.XXX)
More like we hadn't pracced for months in combination of playing extremely tired in a noisy LAN.

For this game we had some pracs and played under normal circumstances, thus getting back to normal scores (can't help DM2 full-starts though).
#28 murdoc - 2010-12-15 21:10 (62.194.153.XXX)
Ok you just keep coming with bullshit over and over again..... time to respond.

No prac for months? Tvs had played only 41 maps from 4 oktober to 4 november just before qhlan. Then you played another 16maps 4on4 at qhlan before the final.

And of course you are the only onces being tired......

Talking about noise... you had fkn 10 donkeys blocking your entrance to keep everyone away... on our side on the other hand we had screaming sassa and a whole bunch of guys standing behind watching us play and even phil sitting accross us doing live commentary....

I say it was GG! ez win!
#29 blAze - 2010-12-15 21:37 (94.237.84.XXX)
I think we played mostly mixeds with a standin and XantoM wasn't playing so it's understandable if he feels that we didn't play much at that time.

Obviously the final at QH wasn't our best game (I mean we just crushed you in groups the previous day) but in a 3 year's winning streak you're eventually going to have a bad game at some point. Luckily for us it was just at the lan and not in the championship league. I think in these semifinal and final we came back to our own level.
#30 fnosk - 2010-12-15 22:46 (87.227.97.XXX)
What's the problem? tVS won fair and square, right? Congratulations to the EQL division 1 victory, tVS!
#31 jon - 2010-12-16 05:23 (90.217.177.XXX)
i have been a milton fan boy for 3 years but i thought trashtalking was really lame :(

after 9 years of rooting against para i guess i will support him from now on. gl slackers!!!
#32 ParadokS - 2010-12-16 11:48 (77.105.214.XXX)
I love how you downplay the importance of the QHLAN. I lol'd...

You had your usual best lineup, on lan, perfect conditions.. as murdoc said, ppl outside inner circle blocking eveyone out, so the noise thing is also bs.

LAN counts for more than online imo, especially when both teams have their best players present with lots of gametime before. But it wasn't no walkover, 3-2 with tough tier, we fought really hard, and make no mistake, tvs fought just as hard - hence the huge dissapointment for some of their players, not coming to say gratz, etc.

Understandable I guess.. losing to an SR team with yet another new 4th player coming up the ranks in div1 going up against 3 year veteran dominators.

I'm proud of my teams performance at qhlan and throughout the season.
#33 Milton - 2010-12-16 12:41 (109.204.186.XXX)
Jon, had to say something. When we aren't even allowed to spectate top div1 games anymore I think things have turned into something far too serious and it's time to take a good break.

And to para, why should we come to congratulate you when pretty much the only thing I heard from you every time I saw you was "fuck you!"? :)

And I think blAze deserves the right to downplay the meaning of QHLan as much as he likes as he stated long before the event that LAN games don't mean anything (that would include my 1on1 victory too).

GGs.
#34 ParadokS - 2010-12-16 13:01 (77.105.214.XXX)
"fuck you" ??? Are you joking? Biggest bs i ever heard. As far as I remember I haven't been hostile toward you .. ever, especially at QHLAN. Always liked QHLANbe cause of the atmosphere and the people who showed up - lay down the crackpipe plz.

And sure he can downplay qhlan by trying to put himself as underdogs before the event "we suck at lan, oh its not important" just incase you would actually lose, and if not u can always say "ye we didnt really care about 4on4 here, but still we won.. aren't we just THE BEST?"

And who says you can't spectate top div1 games? there has been no top div1 games u have not been able to spec.

If you refer to the few hotmix games we played with fusion 2 days before the finals on a "private" server I don't see anything wrong in that either.

I don't know where all your bitternes/anger comes from, but it's not pretty. And the comments during finals were also very unbecoming. As was the fusion lamefest and following with postmatch comments and extra whine.

Maybe everyone should just go have a nice x-mas holliday and they might come back little more positive :)
#35 Milton - 2010-12-16 13:21 (109.204.186.XXX)
Oh, right. Maybe it was someone else yelling "fuck you" right after the 2on2 bronze game (the same thing happened the previous night too after the 4on4 group game). Just sounded awfully familiar. But don't worry, I didn't take it too seriously, hence the smiley in the post above.
#36 blAze - 2010-12-16 14:21 (83.102.10.XXX)
I on the other hand lol at how people try to import some "pro" terminology from new games with professional LAN events and massive scenes into QW. Talking about "online heros" and what not. That has never been a part of QW scene. QW scene is an online scene and QHLan is not a pro lan with big sponsors and big money. It's a fun hobby lan for this small scene to meet other players and play some QW too.

On QHLan we play on some school tables, with unadjustable chairs, trying to find somewhat playable position with extra pillows and what not. Perfect conditions you say? I have perfect conditions at home and QHLan is pretty far from it.

We didn't play the QHLan final with our best lineup because I didn't want to bench anyone who came all the way to Sweden to have some fun playing QW.

People asked me about my expectations before the lan and I told them that I have no expectations except to have good time.

I understand that SR want's to glorify their victory on this just for fun event because, well, that's the only thing they've really got in years. :)
#37 blAze - 2010-12-16 14:30 (83.102.10.XXX)
And I agree that Milton's comment during the EQL final was unnecessary but on the other hand it's kind of hard to resist cracking a joke about your secret server. Especially when people have been going on an on how they have only played this and that much according to the QW stats when all along they've been praccing on a private server that doesn't show on the stats. :P
#38 ParadokS - 2010-12-16 14:35 (77.105.214.XXX)
milton don't know where you heard that, but wasn't from us.

blAze, I still think you, as a team were very disappointed not winning the 4on4 tourney. But why so hellbent on trying to deny it?

Just because it's a fun event, doesn't mean the competition isn't as fierce as anything else, when the games get serious.

It's perfectly normal to combine serious gaming and having fun with it before and after :)

And no, it wasn't just a "for fun event". It was A fun event though.
#39 ParadokS - 2010-12-16 14:37 (77.105.214.XXX)
lol, we played like 3x20min with normal lineup and 3x20min mix games, hardly anything that will change any stats. We would have played more if we actually had people online up to the finals, but sadly we didn't. Would have been fun with more hot games like you had the whole week.

#42 Ihminen - 2010-12-16 15:03 (89.106.44.XXX)
tVS is and will also be champions when we take part to eql. You should congratulate us rather than whine here SR :/
#43 blAze - 2010-12-16 15:08 (83.102.10.XXX)
Well, I have never seen anyone else but you saying that we were very disappointed. I was actually less disappointed than I would have thought beforehand. It just felt like "oh well, I guess it had to happen sooner or later". If I was disappointed I wouldn't be here, I'd be on a 2 years break from QW like the last time I got disappointed about QW. :)

Of course we played as well as we could from there that's not what I'm saying. But if you compare that to the gameplay we can show when playing from home with perfect conditions, obviously these two are lightyears apart.
#44 blAze - 2010-12-16 15:09 (83.102.10.XXX)

What was the reason for SR praccing so much on their private server and asking opponents to come there on private?? Wouln't it be much better for this small scene if other ppl could spec hot games? I think it would be really boring if everybody started playing in their own servers where other ppl cant spec :/

What much? we hardly played any games, you don't seem to understand that :)

There wasn't anything to spec.

Was normal servers like WG and foppa full or something or why?

...I just cant understand this kind of behaviour. Not congratulating the winning team. The team that u just lost against.
A team that keeps winning year after year.
Some compliments from SR would be nice to hear, but no :/
Praccing on private servers where the rest of scene can't spec. And not explaining the reason for that.

I would really like to discuss more about this private server thing. Try to find and understand the true reason for playing secretly. I guess I speak for all the qwscene when I say I wish SR would also play on normal servers in the future. Now especially when tVS is going to take a break so there would be at least something to spec.
