GGS Psy! It was some real tight games and fun games! :)

DM3 (Psy's home): No team ever had real good control of the map, however we managed to keep the lead for the entire game. The entire FA-team went hiding with about 2,5 min left and just got away with the win.

E1M2 (Our home): Disaster for our point of view. As you can see from the stats we didn't get hpld of YA... It wasn't until the last couple of min that we got some control of the YA and I took the last two quads - it was way to late to do anything then. We did some good team flooding of Psy's RL-guys but in the same time we gave away many free frags. But we did a terrible job of getting YA and that is the key to this map. I'm impressed we managed to keep the damage/scores so close even though we had no control what so ever until the last 3 min or so.

CMT1B: Our second match on this map in total, we did a better job this time (I found my way around the map this time... ) but Psy was just better here.

DM2: What a thriller! I was watching from the bench biting my nails, screaming and sweating. I have to watch the demo because I could swear that it was in the very last second of the initial 20 min that overtime commenced. And even in overtime the game went back and forth and only in the last 25 sec did I feel confident that we would win :)

CMT4: The first 10 min was pretty much the same as CMT1B, close and neither team had a real grip of the map. Then Psy got almost complete control of YA area and started gaining some serious frag lead.

Really good games! We (FA) has some more learning to do - we need to secure those armors to win. But we have made some great improvements in our tp just in these playoffs games. And I'm sure we'll do better next season if we keep this up.
Looking forward to fight for the bronze!

well if feffe wrote a nice thread i write too from our side :)

DM3: i guess this was our worst performance, we played like ffa for 10 mins, then after we fucked up some pents we got 1 and we took back the map. ( to observe noone really controlled it ) In the last 2 or 3 mins FA guys did a really great hiding and slowspawning tacts, we were not able to get them fast enought to win our home map :(
In the final seconds, " where the fuck are they ??? "

E1M2: we were very frustrated after loosing the map what we were almost sure that we can win we had to calm down and focus, and surprisly it worked very well, to be honest in the last pracces e1m2 was terrible from our side, but we had very good focus and taking positions.

CMT1B: kinda like that map, thought that FA guys didnt play on it that mutch so this was our choice. Akken had no idea about it but the rest of us played on it rarely and know what to do. Very good play from FA btw.

DM2: this was a chaos. personally it was my worst performance so thats a shame. anyways the game was really close all the time, if we took the map back we couldnt hold it, then they took it back so it was thriller. when the countdown began it was equal, then they got a frag, then we got 1 too so OVERTIME. 5 mins of the same and we lost it.

CMT4: It was close at the beginning, then we managed to hold YA and take pents. We tried to time the red, but we couldnt manage that well. We fucked up many quads, but we were able to hold positions and win the last map. I have to emphasize maniac on this map, he did really great job, killed many rls and secured YA well.

GGs FA, but im a little bit sad that this match was a semi final, it worth like a final match. GL in the future and i hope u will conserve anupko in the upcoming season :)

I played a bit more maps than I had planned to, due to ncp being badly hungover and at first didn't want to play :D

Regarding the kenya's

That cmt1b was probably the worst game I've ever played, never really had any weapons and just tried to secure YA and get to each quad. Kept giving RL to feffe in hopes of getting the next, but we could never keep ya area for more than 30seconds. Think I got like 4 RL's during that game, 2 of them I used to fight for pent and 1 I used to bore into an LG Quad. Also I need to fix a BS bind, as missing the bridge button with SSG will get you squished :D

CMT4 was pretty good tbh, we got to most of the items, Psy just had too much control of YA for most of the game. It's funny that we lost with almost 100frags here, as it felt a lot closer than CMT1B did.

It was indeed last second on that dm2, feffe :D

Yes this was a game worthy of a final and the best team on all maps won:) I am sure that CPM or Machinery will give you guys a good fight.

I also have to agree with Feffe, that our TP has been raised a couple of notches this season, which is just great! No we dont mind losing because we lose to a "better" team. Previously we would lose to teams because our tp was plain shite and of course Peppe was the first to point this out on mumble, using the F-word excessively ;) (I sorta miss that that)

My only hope is that we are able to keep this team for next season. So, Zalon, Peppe, NCP, Feffe and Anupko lets do it better than bronze match next season :)

I just wish the whine from paras would end, only taking anupko into their heads when during the season, they themselves refused to play us until they had domin/feari present.
Aaand ofc after I played 2 eql-matches I didn't play any more until playoffs, meaning whimp had to step in from inactivity and try this 4on4 again(he's awesome btw)
No more of that from my side.

I know I'm just feeding the troll here, but Domin is just rambling on and it's clear that he didn't even check our stats.

It's not about anupko, it's all about peppe, like it's always been :D

The only game we won with anupko was vs CPM. The rest of the matches he played in we lost.

During regular season we've lost 3 matches where peppe wasn't playing, in one of those we even had anupko playing.

The only game we lost with peppe was vs you guys, when you after 4 weeks of denying us EQL and only wanted prac, happened to have feari available to play after postponing the match to later that evening.

Don't bitch about us needing anupko to play, it's clear that individually he is better than most on our team, but we haven't based our whole team around him. We've played with the lineup we had at the time during the whole season.

If you want to point fingers, then why is it that you played all but 1 of your teams official matches, while you are rarely in any of the pracs? Is that because your team can't manage without you?

Of course we try to field our best lineup for each map during playoffs, I mean who doesn't?

Isn't it just fair that we wanted feari to play when div1-anupko was there. Then its like feari vs. anupko, domin vs. peppe and everybody else (including me) just bunnyhopping around.. ;D

Sadly feari played only 4 maps this season so we really needed Domin to play in every game to get decent lineup or lineup at all.

so manny ppl crying about anupko, to be honest hes far away from div1 so plz dont be stupid. hes better then the others thats true but when he's in a team its not a 1man show. the main problem with the teams where's a much better player then the others, that they cant play withouth him or do anything. better that in the next season every team plays with the same skilled ppl and pracc more to get better. look at rusty with eggarf, they were very disappointing. Or check ABLZ in div2, without fix they were in the middle of div3. less 1man show, more teams with equal skillz. o/

And I'm getting seriously tired of Paras pointing fingers at us, Fallen Angels due to one of our players.

No matter what kind of team sport, a team always contains many different skilled individuals. It's how you combine these individual skills into a team effort that define your teams skill.
To raise your teams skill level, all individuals need to raise their skill from a team perspective. Yes, you need to raise your personal skill level as well. But a team with lesser skilled individuals who know how to act in as a team will always be stronger than a set of higher skilled individuals who doesn't know how to play together.

No matter what division your team is in, you will always have different level _and_ type of skill in your lineup of individuals. But it's the performance AS A TEAM that define which division you're best suited to play in.

I can beat and/or give a good challenge to div1 players when it comes to aim (DMM4). I can also beat some of them in duels. Because I can do that, am I a div1 4on4 player? No.
Place me in a div1 4on4 team and I will look like a complete newbie (like I do in div3 sometimes as well...). All that says about me is that I have some parts of the skill sets needed to be a decent 4on4 player, but that I lack other parts.

Anupko is an overall slightly better player than the rest of Fallen Angels, but to no degree is he a whole division above the rest of us in his general 4on4 teamplay skill set.
As a teamplayer, anupko's skills may cover some of the flaws of us other members. But if we stopped supporting each others flaws, anupko and the rest of us would be raped every match. We try to get the best possible TEAMPLAY out of every possible lineup, but it will take time until we can adapt the different lineups to make an equally skilled TEAM.

As it is for all other teams, regardless of division.

So I really don't get this “div 1 anupko” stuff. Are you just plain stupid or just ignorant?

I would have expected this type of whine if we, Fallen Angels, won division 3 without any sort of problem and anupko was topfragger with 50+ frags more than the rest of us and completely dominating the matches. Did that happen? No.

Panjabi, FA guys improved a LOT in teamplay and in invidually skills either. You could do the same if you play enough and if your team does not build on feari alone. They didnt build on anupko hes just a big help for them but have u seen anything that they won just because of him ? no fucking way, check ABLZ as i said, where fix got 80 frags, and their mates got 28, if this happened here i would unterstand what the problem is but at this moment its just bullshit. When you have a good skilled player it can be a good improvement for a team but he NEVER won anything by himself. To be honest i expected much more from you Paras, you are who crying about anupko just because feari didnt want to play with you? Sad that Domin's skillz is now equal with everyone in your team, maybe everyone expected much more from him.
