"The Scene" has grown!

It's with pleasure I look through all the divisions, I sat here and thought things like,
"I wonder what Xorcist, does these days" and then I found him in Team Freedom.

It's amazing, that a game which was released 1996 is still being played, it's even more amazing that we do have serious competions, such as EQL, NQR, DuelMania etc etc. This season we do have a really really strong Div1, but we should never forget the lower divisions either, there's alot of potentional players there and they might be the next generation of quakers.
It's fun to say stuff like "next generation" about a game, but I guess it's alot like Hockey, soccer or whichever sport, it never grows old.

We should never forget that we do have alot of people to thank for these things, I think, among others, about people like, ParadokS, for running QuakeWorld.nu, Sassa, for making every single game interesting, NQR Crew, for keeping NQR alive, EQL crew, for keeping EQL alive (duh), and all the other great human beings that have contributed so much to the Scene, and ofcourse, none the less, the players :)

We have never had as many attenders for EQL as in this season, who knows about EQL4, we might need to add another division!

It's something special about Quake1, people tend to come back, I dont think I only speak for my self when I say "I couldn't stay away from it".

As a summery to all this, the Quake Scene has grown bigger again, and I hope it will continue to grow, GG's everyone, and keep rocking the Quake-World!
