It was time for our 2nd battle in eql3 and the opposing team was no other than master Dave and his servants. We expected them to give us hell, but had no idea just how much it was going to be. When we joined the server the furious battle began immediately, about pings!! We were delighted to win that fight so the hope for victory was alive and well.

First map was their choice, dm3. Fix took the first rl and our boomstickers denied 2nd rl from their pentdude. After such a ridiculously easy start we decided to give them a little rope so they could get into the game, but instead they used that rope to hang themselves :/ Notice how polite siv is, chilling in the middle of the pack even though he could be first if he wanted to :D

Their second map choice: dm2! Before the round I say to my mates "hey lets try to lose this1 so they wont go home emptyhanded plus we get2play one more map with sajv 8)" Obviously it's a joke but because I'm known not to have a sense of humour they take it seriously and sr wins.

On e1m2 our superior teamplay comes into play and only sometimes they manage to overtake the map. 16mins into the round the lead is big enough to do some sauna, so we do it.

After the game we open our door to our enemies, and ask could we wipe the slate clean, but they tell us to please go fuck ourselves, you know you just can't win....

Hard to comment on this. cMF displayed the lamest behavior before the match, and obviously there is no sign of improvement after. They should be ashamed, but fifi is probably arrogant enough to give is another "humorish" remark.
good game, but maybe work a bit on the attitude. If you can't make it funny, don't make it all.

I'll try to be as polite as possible in these circumstances. First of all, I have no idea why you thought cmf was being lame. From the past I figure that winning qw matches is the highlight of your life so I understand that you are a little upset after dissing cmf before the season so much :)

Obviously you want to have 13ms as the avg pings would be even. But having 13ms against 39ms is just ridiculous, I know for a fact that you yourself would never agree to it. We offered equal conditions, fix and insa with 52ms, everyone else with 39ms, but you (obv.) chose to bitch and moan and cry for wo instead of answering me why that wasn't an option. The delay wasn't caused by us not wanting to start the game, some of our players needed to go to bathroom :)

I'm really sorry you feel this way and probably view this as another comment putting you down. But seriously, if you dig yourself a hole, don't fall in it.

the pings were perfectly fair. 52 39 39 13 vs 39 39 26 26. I even set my ping higher, and made our avg. pings higher but you still whined and delayed for almost 20 minutes. So ofcourse I think your behavior was ridicilous.
As for your report, I actually don't have anything clever to say to it.

I'm not sure if it's wise to continue but making up things when you run out of real arguments is a bit sad para.

Because you are ignoring what I wrote, I'll repeat:
1) 13ms vs 39ms is not cool, I've seen you complain about that yourself in the past, agree?
2) the delay wasn't exactly anywhere near 20 minutes, and it wasn't caused by us whining :)
3) we only asked YOU to stop crying about the pings as we OFFERED you 100% equal conditions (to which dragon said: we choose to have a handicap)

If you choose to continue it here, please use facts and don't bother to exaggerate things as a lot of people saw what happened.

you had 26 26 39 39 vs our 13 26 39 52, perfectly fair. Just beacuse you offer minping 39 or 52 dosen't make that a sensible offer. We could also play minping 200 all of us. But stop wasting more time on that.

Stop using 13ms vs 39ms as a fact all the time, if you exclude the fact that our highest pinging player had 52 and yours had 39. It's not an argument then anymore, it's just making noise for the sake of noise.

This is getting really boring. Let me state the facts.. No matter who had the ping advantage, the result would have been the same anyway. It's much more better for ]LARSEN[ now so they can blaim the ping for their loss. Without that excuse the result would have been 2much2handle and who knows what might have happened. Probably some ketchup on the nike sneakers?

last two maps the ping was 100% equal, and first map they offerd you minping 39 for 100% equal game, tho you decided to play without it. From my point of view, the game seemed fair!

insane i didnt agree to anyones pov :) i think those pings is fair enough, but i think the 2nd solution is better, when both have the EXACT same ping is always the best,
ping average is kinda sucky to look at sometimes, like for example we play games with like 26 26 40 40 vs 26 26 26 40 or something, and ping average just shows 4-5 ms dif (in fs-la final), we had the same vs la in groups, that time we had the advantage with 26 40 40 40 vs their 40 40 40 40, but if its possible to get the EXACT same pings whynot just use that. ofc u can argue whats worst, 13 vs 39 or 26 vs 52, its hard to tell, but wasnt this the best way?

yes it was played fair, that wasn't the point. One of the first thing I did was ping myself up, hence also making our avg. ping worse. But they still delayed and said we should do minping 39 or 52. wtf. They just delayed for 10-15 min more and then went ready anyway cause admin came in and said "wtf go ready".
The issue is not if we played with fair pings, it was cMF whining about it in first place and continue to do so untill admin said enough go ready. And then making such lame comments/report after game.

It really feels like you are just trying to make us look bad because you are very angry that we (unrightfully) managed to win. You use selective reading and tell lies and halftruths as facts which is a little annoying. Once again, I'll have to correct a few:

Absolutely not true, no admin forced anything. The delay was closer to 5 than 10mins and wasn't because we were "whining" as I have already said.

Again, who exactly is whining? If you vote for the most fair game possible (that is totally reasonable), what exactly is wrong with 39 39 39 52 vs 39 39 39 52 ? I've already said that I don't think it's fair to have 13ms when someone has 39ms but you counter that with 26ms vs 52ms argument which is something we never suggested.

The only reason you are receiving these near-instareplies is that you distort the facts. As for the comments, I'm sorry you feel it's lame to correct some of your arguments but I feel it's necessary. The report is top class as usual.

None of my arguments has been false. fix said "minping 39 or 52ms" there is no reason to raise minping when pings are already fair. If you have diffrent oppinion then thats your choice. I didnt see any problems with 13 vs 26 for 1 player, or 39 vs 51 for another, you did. What is wrong with minping 39/51? its raising pings to the point of raising them for no reason. If you wanna make nqr/eql to hpw cause everyone should have same ping as highest nominee then state that. Love your fucked up metaphors about peeing in holes btw. And for the record, we waited about 17mins on server where last 10 was with fix/vore only ppl not ready. I had already set ignore_opponents after first 6 min of cmd minping 39/25/0 race.

the rules say that cMF could just ask para to get his ping to the lowest cMF ping = 26!
Fix didnt haveto use 52 ping.. but para HADTO get 26 ping!!
if I cMF just had told me when I asked if things were "okey"m that there was a ping discussion, I would have made para fix his 13 ms -> 26 ms so the teams would have:
sr: 26 26 39 52
cmf: 26 26 39 39

SR got ping advantage, but no1 asked me when I came in to fix the pings.. no one complained and I didnt say "WTF GO READY" I just asked both teams if it was okey and it was just fine, if u have ping problems in the future then just call ghostbusters and we will be there to correct it.

Only thing i want to change about fifi's first comment, its was equal the whole game on e1m2 till 7mins left. CMF had like a 60 frag lead and 3mins before the end we took over and trying to catch up but we couldn't find cmf's sauna area. gg's anyway 3>

smells like teen (dave) spirit. omg plz wtf look the shots, pings r perfect, as equal as it can be, and still parapoxx cant get it why he(they) lost.

i think its this nintendo-generation: their mario bros with nintendo didnt lag; their triplane didnt lag with their first PCs; their father bought them 10000000mbit cables and P6 50000+Ghz PCs so they could play with steady 77fps and steady 13ms their QUAKEWORLD. im accusing their parents. why make it easier, while your children become such an assholes?

first solution to this is, that you try to play c64. yes, its an old 'computer', search for google for more information of it. well try a cassette, where is 50 and 1 games on it, and try to play 'snoopy'. it takes like 30mins to load this game, so u can make some forward and backward walking.

next solution is to buy pentium 200mmx with 16mb ram and play quakeworld. fps makes it just above the 24 so its 'smooth' as they call it. with modem pings like 128ms it comes more important to make the right moves.

if these wont help, ask for dave what to do. you really can turn yourselves as complete idiots also, and refuse to play if ping is over 13ms. its your choice. but im afraid, every1 would think your not worth playing with, if you have attitude like that.
