Kalma, will not happend. So many clans that refuse/delay games as long as possible. So that would mean that the team would get less points in the end. If there would have been 2 WOs to tVS this season SR would have won them even when tVS hasn't lost a map, and the reason in that case would most probably have just been that they don't want to play or something similar. The system would also most likely be used in the end as tactics which is the biggest reason. Teams shouldn't be able to manipulate other teams points depending on if they play them and lose, or not play them and lose.

You should always contact an admin when you fail to set up a game vs other clans. If they wont respond or if they dont come to agreed times it is up to you to ask an admin what to do.

Admins can't affect their own clans decisions in any ways, that is one of the main rules for us admins and how we work.

could you guys plz tell why FA gets WO's from games and others don't in div3? is it because zalon is an admin? FA played few games at the first two weeks, then went hibernate until last week, and played most of their games. IMO they shouldn't get WO's from PT and that other team, since it would be just fuckin lame to expect that teams that have been active all the time, would play games only when it fits FA's schedule. Last week was not in the original match schedule.. And if teams like us, who have been trying to contact teams like PE several weeks now (no1 or just one idler on their IRC channel normally) should rather get WO's. seems to me that people r using their admin status on their own favor. GG. and this is my honest opinion.

I agree WO's suck in playoff and really should be avoided at all costs. I dont know who you are refering to that are "hoping" for a WO vs TVS. It's either us or cccp that are playing you in semi and I dont think anyone of us have even said anything about it :)
But IMO you shouldnt bend rules and have special arrangements for certain clans just so they can have their A-lineup. Having more than 4 players is a must for pretty much any clan.
And you know this is coming from mr.balls! ;) I prefer to play anyone's A-team. It's just the principal about it.

Well IMHO if you wanna be strict with timelimits, it would be MUCH more suitable in the group stage than playoffs. In group stage strict schedules would save a lot of hassle and evading games and a few wo's are not a big deal. On the other hand in the playoffs wo's are really anticlimatic and should be avoided by increasing the flexibility compared to group stage.

A maximum 8 games in division 2 might have been too few but this was also the division in which most clans quit or idled. There were enough clans from the start but rev2, quinas, ccs quit while ax3 only managed 3 games.

Still the div2 playoffs will be pretty intense with the 8 active clans batteling for glory :)

1. Make clear rules about WO.
„To make it as fair as possible in these kind of situations, admins will look into which solution is best in every case.” – thats all about WO in rules.
Not a word about reporting. It seems all teams of div 3 (exept FA and PE) didn’t know what to do in that case. I guess you need to report that you tried to play that game. But is this enought? I’ve just chcecked and PE got 3 WO. They were inactive ALL season and wanted to play all team in Saturday and Sunday. And now they have 3 WO - brilliant !!! In our case – they wanted to play against us in Saturday – i had 4 but not our best lineup so i refused. Then we scheduled our match on Sunday 21 Cest.

Everyone form div 3 knows QAH is inactive ATM. They have played only 3 games in the beginnig of the season.
I dont know if what i showed is enought and it isn’t too late. We were active all the season and i think we earned to play in Playoffs. I also think clans like cmp.qw and PT who were acvite throughout season should have got WO with PE and now its quite different.

I dont know wheter admins change they opinon and let us play in Playoffs – but i know we need one admin who knows whats happenig in div 3 and clear rules about WO. Can you just jump last day and if nobody wants to play game with you then you will get WO?

nitram: I think you misunderstood me. I said that it is 1vs8 2vs7 etc.. and no doubt that it's the logical way to do it (in first round).
My question i brought up was if it's in the 2nd round (semis) is either a fixed bracket or if highest position in the board always plays lowest in the board. (so that the winning team always gets the best playoff-path.)
A scenario: Lets say nr 7 wins vs nr 2. With a fixed bracket it would be 1vs4 and 3vs7. With the other system it is 1vs7 and 3vs4. Im pretty sure both has been used before and it says nothing about it in rules so I my question was which is used.

I do not. I'm not cl. The Public Enemies have tried to arrange a match already 7 weeks ago. Even yesterday we waited for them by 21 (so it was determined). They were from us: Snow, Haflinger, Faustov, Bibo, Chironex, Nefurii and me. Never us it was not so many players at once.

You pick one map each first, the team with the most points from regular season gets to pick first. Then you play the remaining map from the map pool (wether the score is 1-1 or 2-0 doesn't matter).

If the scores are 2-1 to Team 1 then Team 2 picks the 4th map. If the score is level 2-2 after the 4th map then Team 1 picks the deciding map.

About Revolution they have been dead for the last 3-4 weeks, so not so much to bitch about why clans got wos against them. We tried ourselves to schedule, but NOT even ONE player showed up. Yarpen in Revolution confirmed that the clan is pretty much dead, sadly :(
